A Great Lesson on Stress

A  young lady confidently walked around the room while leading and explaining stress management to an audience with a raised glass of water. Everyone knew she was going to ask the ultimate question, 'half empty or half full?'... She fooled them all .... "How heavy is this glass of water?" she inquired with a smile.
Answers called out ranged from 8 oz. To 20 oz.

She replied ,
"The absolute weight doesn't matter. It depends on how long I hold it.
If
I hold it for a minute, that's not a problem. If I hold it for an hour, I'll have an ache in my right arm.

If I hold it for a day, you'll have to call an Ambulance. In each case it's the same weight, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it becomes." She continued, "and that's the way it is with stress. If we carry our burdens all the time, sooner or later, as the burden becomes increasingly heavy, we won't be able to carry on."

"As with the
glass of water, you have to put it down for a while and rest before holding it again. When we're refreshed, we can carry on with the burden - holding stress longer and better each time practiced.

So, as early in the
evening as you can, put all your burdens down.
Don't carry them through the
evening and into the night... Pick them
up tomorrow.

1 * Accept the fact that some days you're the pigeon, and some days you're the statue!

2 * Always keep your words soft and sweet, just in case you have to eat them.

3 * Always read stuff that will make you look good if you die in the middle of it.

4 * Drive carefully... It's not only cars that can be recalled by their Maker.

5 * If you can't be kind, at least have the decency to be vague.

6 * If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

7 * It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

8 * Never buy a car you can't push.

9 * Never put both feet in your mouth at the same time, because then you won't have a leg to stand on.

10 * Nobody cares if you can't dance well. Just get up and dance.

11 * Since it's the early worm that gets eaten by the bird, sleep late.

12 * The second mouse gets the cheese.

13 * When everything's coming your way, you're in the wrong lane.

14 * Birthdays are good for you. The more you have, the longer you live.

16 * Some mistakes are too much fun to make only once.

17 * We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box.

18 * A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour.

19 * Have an awesome day and know that someone has thought about you today.

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY

20 *Save the earth..... It's the only
planet with chocolate!* I THINK !!!!

Keeping it Shady

Cellular Window Shades hand crafts every single window shade they sell.  They even have the signature of the person who actually built the product on each one.  Whats even better is that you can directly speak to this individual if you ever have a question regarding the specific shade.  Each insulating cellular shade is built in the USA in their Vermont factory.

"Our insulating Symphony cellular shades are so energy efficient that they pay for themselves in less than three years in Vermont in a house without air conditioning. Add air conditioning costs and they pay for themselves in less than 2 years."  They are so confident in the quality they have to offer and their prices, they "have a 110% price match guarantee!"

With Summer time right around the corner these would be a great addition to the house.

Disney’s fantastical adventure “Oz The Great and Powerful,” directed by Sam Raimi, imagines the origins of L. Frank Baum’s beloved wizard character. When Oscar Diggs (James Franco), a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, he thinks he’s hit the jackpot—fame and fortune are his for the taking—that is until he meets three witches, Theodora (Mila Kunis), Evanora (Rachel Weisz) and Glinda (Michelle Williams), who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone’s been expecting. Reluctantly drawn into the epic problems facing the Land of Oz and its inhabitants, Oscar must find out who is good and who is evil before it is too late. Putting his magical arts to use through illusion, ingenuity—and even a bit of wizardry—Oscar transforms himself not only into the great wizard but into a better man as well.

Now is the time, try Thirty One for 30 Days, dont like it? Quit and Keep $250 in commission, $300 free start kit products and $300 free startwell products.

But if you want to join a company that allows you to work around your own schedule, your kids being sick, your husband working, taking care of your parents, carpools, PTA meetings, soccer, and still make a descent living, this is the company for you.

I originally joined for the product and discount. Boy, I didn't know what I was getting into. This company has given me more than $1000 in products free since joining last February and more discounts than I can name. I honestly didnt know if I could do it when I first began. I wanted to be sucessful but with my husbands schedule and working 40 hours a week myself, I kept asking when will I find the time? And will I feel guilty for leaving my girls? Well I have found the time, on weekends and doing a few catalog/online parties. I dont feel as guilty as I would if I knew that the 3 or 4 hours I am away wouldnt be helping my family. An average $500 party, I make $125 commission, this commission has been paying off CC debt. I am so thankful for it.

We are preparing to sell, preparing to build, and this company is just what we needed to help get everything on track. I have a wonderful team of ladies and cannot wait to expand to include a little bit of everyone and to connect with my team members. So want to join the Bowers Bombshells and see what all the fuss is about??

Go to www.mythirtyone.com/kmbowers and join. Join between Feb 16 and April 1st during the OJ program and after 30 days and $1000 in sales, get your enrollment fee back!

Beauty—yea not my thing

So I am not about beauty products at all, so much so that my 3 year has taken all my make up to become play make up because I don’t use it. I am in the process of replacing it, it was like 6 years old so needed to be replaced anyways. She had lots of fun playing ‘make up’ and being pretty with it.
Anyways, I am not a big make up person but I am all about keeping my face clean. As a teenager, I had major acne problems. It has cleared up a lot since becoming an adult but after 2 kids, my hormones and chemical balance have changed. So around certain times of the month, I am breaking out again.
The Mary Kay line 3-1 Timewise Cleanser worked for me years ago, so after Hailey came and I began having the issues again. My face was drier, bumper, and red in some areas.  Mary Kay just wasn’t doing it so I have shopping around for something that works. I still use my moisturizer and other products from Mary Kay, the face wash just isn’t helping my break outs.
So a few months ago, a friend on facebook posted her link to her blog. It is all about fashion, beauty, and products, so I have been checking it out about once a week or so. So Nikki over at Heaven Has Cupcakes wrote a post recently about a product she was using and loved. I thought why not try it?? So I went to the website and ordered a few samples. I love following great bloggers that help out and are honest about their reviews. Nikki shows a lot of good stuff and if I was that girly girl I would probably be spending a lot of money to get the cute items that she uses.
She recommended using Mario Badescu products for the acne and dry skin issue. So I have been using it for about 2 weeks now and it has really helped my issues. This past month I haven’t broken out as badly as I had the months before and the redness from the dry winter air has cleared almost 100%. I also got a few other samples that Ava and I have been using, the girl loves her lotions!
So my acne is under control and my dryness is better. I am so happy with the results. And if you would like to hear more about fashion, beauty, or her obsession over Cupcakes, visit her and become a follower.

JJ COLE Broadway Stroller

When I received the JJ Cole Broadway stroller I was so excited to see what this baby could do!
The only stroller that I've known to do some of what the Broadway stroller can do is the Peg Perego Skate but at a much Costlier price.

The JJ Cole Broadway Stroller, which weighs a light weight of 20 lbs easily converts from bassinet mode to a toddler seat for fashionable versatility with full 360 degree spinaway without disrupting baby! We all know that's a big plus! No parent wants to move a sleeping baby and we all know that if we take a baby out they're most likely not going to want to get back in.

To Spin the seat 360 degrees either to face mom or face away mom simply twist the
handle and spin the seat. And Yes.. you can spin the seat while it's in bassinet mode!

The Broadway stroller is great from Birth to 50lbs. I tested my 4 year old and he was way too big.
The seat has an adjustable recline so a sleepy toddler can nap without having to put it in bassinet mode.
Just simply pull the lever and adjust the seat.

I love the 5 point harness but the belly pad I could do without since it falls off allot. The fabric on the seat is also removable for easy cleaning.

The bumper bar is removable and can detach from either side for easy entry for independent
toddlers. I also love that there is zippered fabric on the bumper bar that you can remove and wash!

The Broadway easily converts from bassinet mode to a toddler seat in three easy steps:

Pull the tether to the upright position

Snap the hooks underneath the foot rest

And wala! Toddler mode!

I love the large storage basket on the bottom. That's a must when I travel.

The JJ Cole Broadway stroller comes with a height adjustable handle that extends from
36-42 inches which is great for taller parents.

The canopy is great! It's enough to keep baby covered
& comes with a peekaboo window.

The wheels are sturdy and NON air filled so you don't have to worry about
flat tires and the front wheels lock for harder terrain. I love that there is a light indicator
letting you know whether the back tires are locked or not.

The JJ Cole Broadway has an easy one hand fold. The only thing I don't really
like is that you have to remove the seat to fold. BUT, I am willing to
accept that considering all the cool features this stroller has to offer!

Another cool thing about this stroller is you can change the canopy
color out to fit your style! These are optional accessories you can purchase.

The car seats that will attach straight onto the frame is
the JJ Cole Newport car seat, Lamaze Via and First Years Via I470
The Broadway stroller also comes with a car seat adapter which will fit the following car seats.
(works with specific car seats such as Graco Snugride, and Chicco Keyfit)

Here is a quick run through of the JJ Cole Broadway on YouTube
Now who wants to win one!
Giveaway Ends March 16th to U.S residents only
I will contact the winner Via Email
