Release with Review:: Timeout by Lisa Suzanne

 Release Date: September 23

As Jack’s wedding draws nearer, the cloud over him seems to darken as he goes through the motions. Instead of enjoying the bachelor party and rehearsal dinner, he needs a timeout from the woman he’s set to marry.

If he really walks down the aisle toward her, I can’t keep working with him. Not when I’m in love with him. My boss didn’t hire me to help this pro football quarterback make better decisions. He hired me to make sure Jack marries his daughter.

And as the day of the wedding dawns, my one job responsibility is one of the most morally conflicting things I’ve ever had to do.

TIMEOUT is the third book in the VEGAS ACES: THE QUARTERBACK series. This series must be read in order.

Review:
These two are breaking my heart. It's like we have a front row seat of this train wreck and you just cannot look away. We see a little more of Jack's sweet side while also seeing more of what is holding these two apart. My heart broke for the sadness in Kate's heart. When this wedding is hours away Kate has to decide either the job or love? It's just so good and I cannot wait for the next.

Release with Review:: One Day Like This by Scarlett Cole

 Release Date: September 21

Matt
Loving Izabel Bryson should be the easiest thing in the world. Heck, she’s been the inspiration for at least half a dozen of the songs he’s written for his rock band, Sad Fridays.
He’s loved her for a decade.
But she’s his best friend and fellow-band mate’s little sister, and he promised a decade ago that he’d never put his hands on her.
She can never be his, no matter how much he craves her.

Izabel
Loving Matt Palmer is the most hopeless thing in the world.
The hours she spends running her friend’s yoga studio and volunteering at the Manchester homeless shelter only go so far in distracting her from the painful truth.
He doesn’t want her.
Because she screwed up that awful night two years before when she slept with Matt’s brother.
He will never be hers, no matter how much she yearns for him.

When a good deed leads to one bed, and one night of ruthless honesty, everything is laid bare. They belong together, but acting on it will cost them everything.

Review:
I really enjoyed this story. It was funny and emotional. It was such a good read and I loved the way that author just made you feel like you were right there sitting beside these wonderful characters.

Meet Scarlett Cole

The tattoo across my right hip says it all really. A Life Less Ordinary. Inked by the amazingly talented Luke Wessman at the Wooster Street Social Club (a.k.a. New York Ink). Why is it important? Well, it sums up my view on life. That we should all aspire to live a life that is less boring, less predictable. Be bold, and do something amazing. I’ve made some crazy choices. I’ve been a car maker, a consultant, and even a senior executive at a large retailer running strategy.

Born in England, spent time in the U.S. and Japan, before ending up in Canada where I met my own, personal hero – all six and a half feet of him. Both of us are scorpios! Yeah, I know! Should have checked the astrological signs earlier, but somehow it works for us. We have two amazing kids, who I either could never part with or could easily be convinced to sell on e-bay.

I’ve wanted to be a writer for a really long time. Check through my office cupboards or my computer and you’ll find half written stories and character descriptions everywhere. Now I'm getting the chance to follow that dream.

I am represented by Beth Phelan at The Bent Agency, NY.

Review:
This was such a fun quick read. These two are adorable together and I got all the good feels from this cute story. Owen and Sophie are just too cute for others. I am a sucker for a single dad and Owen did not disappoint. It is such a good read.

Release:: Until Jinx by Mary B. Moore

Title: Until Jinx
A Happily Ever Alpha World Novel
Author: Mary B. Moore
Publisher: Boom Factory Publishing, LLC
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: September 17, 2021

BLURB

Jinx

She was meant to be just another appointment, but when Sienna Blake came to get her scars covered up, the story that came with it changed everything.
I should have been more aware back then, more clued in to what was going on, but I’d been so focused on finding my path in life that I’d messed up, and she’d become a victim because of it.

I’m going to make it up to Sienna and help her get her life back, this time with me in it. And it’s not just because of who hurt her. It’s because there’s something about her that I can’t stop thinking about. She’s fragile but strong. Hurt but complete. And I can’t stay away from her.

Art’s my passion, and skin’s my canvas, but The Broken Eagles are what brings it all together. At least, it was until Sienna came back into my life.

***

Sienna

I don’t go out, and I don’t speak to people—I just focus on my pottery and designs. So why I finally decided to bite the bullet and get a tattoo, I don’t know. Maybe I did it because it was him?

Covering up the past helps, but you can never erase it completely. This I know well. But that one appointment opens up my life in ways I didn’t expect, and now that we’ve met up again, Jinx is determined to give me a future I never imagined I’d have.

Unfortunately, we can’t always erase the demons chasing us, though, and it seems like she isn’t finished trying to ruin my life. But now she wants everything we’ve built together to come tumbling down.

This time, though, I’m not on my own, and I’m stronger than I was before because of him.

Until Jinx is part of Aurora Rose Reynolds’ Happily Ever Alpha World. If you loved Until July, then you’ll want to read Until Jinx.

AUTHOR BIO

I'm a British author who grew up all over the world. My parents were diplomats, so we were posted to all of the corners of the earth and it was a blast. Some wouldn't seem so awesome if you heard about them, but my parents always made it a fun experience and it molded my brother and I into who we are today.

I live in Wiltshire in the west country of the UK. At random times of the day, I'll hear a moo from the fields around me, or get a whiff of that...uhhh...'country air', and I love it! I might not have grown up in the UK, but I'm a British girl to the bone (regardless of the suspicious whiffs coming in from the fields).

I'm a single mother with a son who is nearing his teenage phase. Maybe he's reached it early? Who knows. But he's awesome and has a personality and sense of humor that I can only attribute to my family. We're slightly bonkers, we have a wicked sense of humor and we find the positives in every situation. I'm so proud to be his mum and to watch him grow and mature.

Writing was something that I'd always done. I had a teacher in the third grade who always set us the task of writing a story and making it into a book every weekend. After I left school, I kept this up and wrote as often as I could or just plotted out books. This evolved into me taking the plunge and publishing my first book in 2016 and I've been typing ever since.

I'm proud to be an Indie Author, and I absolutely love writing out my crazy Providence characters and the more complex ones in my other series'. It doesn't matter if it's romantic comedy or something with more suspense - so long as it has a HEA I'll do it!

I've got so many more planned, so the best is yet to come.

Release with Review:: The Lie by Karla Sorensen

Rule number 1 for the team owner’s daughter? Don’t date the players.
Especially not hotheaded tight ends with tattoos and impulse control problems.
That's why Dominic Walker is completely off my radar. Sort of.
Babysitting the team troublemaker when he's forced to volunteer for the foundation where I work means I can't exactly avoid him.
I wish I had though. Because once I get to know Dominic, it's almost impossible to ignore the feelings he brings out in me.
Pretty soon, I'm breaking all my rules. I just have to hope he doesn't break my heart in the process.

Review:
This one did hit the heart strings pretty good. I liked them together and the dynamic that was brought. We learn that you have to be good with yourself before you can give yourself freely to someone else. It was a sweet read.

Meet Karla Sorensen

Well, let’s see ... I’m a wife and a mother. If the things that I write bring a smile to someone's face, then I've done my job.

I am obsessed with Outlander (both the books and the show). I’m almost exclusively a romance reader, which means some people will never consider me a literary snob.

If I could meet one historical figure, it would be Jane Austen. I received my Bachelors in Public Relations and worked in health care marketing before I had my babies.

I hate Twitter. I do it, but I hate it. Also, if you want to get on my good side, bring me wine and I'll love you forever.

Release with Review:: I'll Be There by Remy Marie

Title: I'll Be There
Author: Remy Marie
Genre: NA Romance, College Sports Romance, Interracial Romance
Release Date: September 4, 2021

Jasmine Phillips has always had her sights set high, and it seems like she has everything figured out. She has the grades, the looks, the money—and let’s not forget her perfect boyfriend. To anyone on the outside looking in, she has the perfect life. Little do they know, it’s not what it seems. Despite her stellar grades and top percentile MCAT score, her parents still aren’t happy. Jasmine’s surgeon parents want her to follow in their footsteps while she wants to pursue a career in pediatrics. However, this turns out to be the least of her worries. Her perfect, med student boyfriend is determined to ruin her future along with his own. When he lays his hands on her for the first time, Jasmine’s life is thrown into turmoil and Brock Givens seems to be the only one able to keep her life from spinning out of control.

Brock Givens might seem like an average dumb jock at a glance but to people who know him, he’s much more that. While a football star, he’s also smarter than most give him credit for and has a passion for more than just football, but that doesn’t mean he’s without issues of his own. Brock’s troubled past and childhood trauma are impacting his football career and threatening his future. Jasmine tries to be there for Brock as a friend but they seem to be getting closer and closer each day while denying there is anything more than friendship until their mutual need for comfort and support brings them closer than they anticipate.

Content Warning, contains scenes of domestic abuse, sexual assault, and racism.

Review:
Holy goodness, this was one of those can't put down until the every last work books. Jasmine was very naïve and sweet and even though I wanted to choke her I wanted to hug her. She was young and in love. As book smart as she was I just couldn't believe how dense she was with love, but I guess when you are inside the box it is just so hard to see what everyone is telling you. Brock is on the football team and is in tutoring. He is quiet, shy, and has been through so much. Their friendship was so sweet and I watched them fall in love and not even know it. They were just having fun, a type of fun they weren't used to: fun without permission or rules. Their individual stories are heartbreaking, their story together will make you feel all gooey inside, and soon you will get to see if they can make it work. I wanted to hug them both. I loved how this story was written, raw and emotional. There are things that happen in this world that shouldn't and you can't control it. But you can control how you react to it and how you learn from it. You can achieve everything you want no matter what someone may tell you. This story shows us how if you keep those around you that really love you, you can accomplish anything. Brock and Jasmine's small circle of friends along rally around them and they thrive. This was such a good story and I am thankful to have been introduced to this author.
