FAKED AND FUMBLED

Gina Azzi

Release Date: November 30

Knoxville Coyotes football heartthrob Cohen Campbell is my brother's best friend. Now, he's the man posing as my fake boyfriend. Simple, right? Wrong.
I thought my luck couldn't get worse than when my long-term boyfriend publicly dumped me. Wrong again. Now, my ex is dating my cousin, and our friend group is embarking on an annual ski trip. Desperate to save face, I beg Cohen to pretend to like me. To bluff wanting me. To lay it on thick to convince my friends that I'm not heartbroken or hurt. I'm not damaged goods. That I have, in fact, moved on. But during the trip, things change. Cohen's longing glances make my heart race. His casual, familiar touches stir up new feelings. And his kiss? His kiss makes me yearn for things I've never experienced before. Toss in one bed, an epic snowstorm, and a gossip circle a mile wide, and I'm praying we don't fumble our fake relationship. Obviously, I'm always wrong.

Review:
Walker St. James is a force. He sees her and he knows. It may take Hanna a little long but Walk consumes her space as much as possible. These two were incredible together and loved seeing her parents. Her parents, who didn't blink an eye at this man stating he belongs to their daughter's heart. Allowing someone who is a little skittish on sharing her heart to find a man that takes her heart and makes it grow was a wonderful story to witness.

Review:
Vivian and Beau are absolutely adorable. These two are just yummy together. Beau is a down to earth just good guy. Vivian doesn't trust anyone right now but Beau just kept proving her wrong. She kept coming at him with reasons to not be together, to move forward without him, and he won her over every time. It was a wonderful story and I loved Beau's family and how close he was with them throughout his adventures.

Review:
Another wonderfully told story by this author. Eva and Levi are best friends and really didn't see anything for each other than friendship. They have wonderful banter, they care about each other, they know everything there is to know. Then one little look, one little word, and there becomes a heat between them. Their movement from friendship to more was a treat to witness.

Release with Review:: Unforgettable by S.B. Alexander

UNFORGETTABLE

S.B. Alexander

Release Date: November 2

He’s a football god. She’s the daughter of a Texas senator. Their chemistry is like oil and water.
My name is Ryker James. I’m cocky, ornery, and I take things when I want them. Caring isn’t in my vocabulary unless it’s related to football or my family, and I just lost my entire family in a blink of an eye. Now all I have is football. The problem is the misery, the drinking, and the parties have more appeal to me. But Lakemont University wants that championship. Fans want to see wins on the scoreboard, and my teammates salivate to crush our opponents every game. Yet, the only pass I might be throwing is at the auburn-haired girl who waltzes into my life. She’s fire. I’m ice. A combination that doesn’t work. So let the games begin.

My name is Haven Hale, and I’d been tucked away in a boarding school most of my life. Now, I’m a big-time college girl. All I see is freedom in front of me. But first, I have to agree to my father’s demands—no media attention and no sororities. If I can follow those two edicts, then college life should be a breeze. Until one close encounter with Ryker James, and Father Dearest has changed the game. Stay away from the big, bad quarterback, or face my father’s wrath. There’s only one problem. I can’t help who I’m attracted to. And Ryker James is a magnet, built to attract any female, constructed to make any girl’s heart sputter, and my heart is beating off the charts. So, it’s time to choose between the devil I know and the one I don’t. Unforgettable is an enemies-to-lover’s standalone romance. Be prepared for all the feels, steamy times, a slow-burn romance, and a guaranteed happily ever after.

Review:
Can I explain with words how much I loved this story? Probably not enough. These two are amazing together. These two have a lot of growing up to do and have so much baggage for such young people. Their story, man, their story is just one that should have been told. It was told correctly and beautifully. I couldn't put it down, I could't stop reading until I knew Haven was safe and Ryker was happy.

Release with Review:: Deranged Ink, Book 2, by CA Harms

Title: Deranged Ink, Book #2
Series: Inked Boys
Author: CA Harms
Genre/Tropes: Friends to Lovers, Second Chance, Tattooed Bad Boy
Release Date: October 31, 2023
Cover Design: Melissa Gill Designs

I’ve never been the kind of girl to take the easy way out. I learned at too young of an age there are no such things as fairy tales. Happy endings never came to people like me.

The tarnished ones.

I’m surrounded by a group that knows sadness too well. We know what it’s like to lose and be tossed away like last night's trash.

We are easy to blame for all the wrongs, because when others look at us, they see our scars. Most of our stories are told in the ink we bear, but we wear those tales proudly.

Oliver Riggins is the first man I’ve run across that made me feel like I could have more. But he’s also one of the many men who are more family to me than my own flesh and blood.

Four brothers by choice, they’ve taken me in, and treated me as one of their own.

The problem is, I’ve always wanted more from Oliver.

I’ve felt an instant connection to him from the first day I walked into Deranged Ink. But the fear of ruining what we have and then in the end not having him at all, that was too hard to bear.

So instead, I’ve sat back and watched the parade of women in his life, but with each one I feel a little part of me crumble away.

I want him, I’ve always wanted him.

Maybe it's time I stop running.

Maybe it's time I start fighting for the things I want.

Review:
This series has gotten off the ground and now I am totally hooked. Oliver and Luna feel that they cannot act on any feelings because of the connection within the group. They finally figure it out and the ride I got to take them was a really sweet and hot one.

“I kept telling myself that if I push everyone away hard enough, it will hurt less when everything blows up.” Luna whispers, with our lips only barely apart.

“But right now you’re hurting me.” Killing me is more like it. “I’m physically aching without you.”

Her body shudders.

“I don’t care about next week, hell next month or even next year. I care about now, and right now I need you. I need us, Luna, because I am falling apart slowly and you are the only person that can piece me back together.”

C.A. Harms is an avid romance and mystery reader. She's always had a love for books, getting lost in writing and storytelling even as a young girl. She enjoys happy endings and HEA love stories.

She lives in Illinois and enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She holds an addiction for Starbucks White Chocolate Mocha’s and KitKat when she should really be focusing on water and maybe a fruit or two to make herself feel less guilty, but that feeling quickly passes...thankfully.

She is easy going, fun, and although she may seem like one of the quiet ones at first, you just wait until she gets to know you better...that quietness changes, fast.
