From New York Times bestselling author Alexa Riley, a friends-to-lovers romance that will bring you the happily-ever-after you’ve been waiting for

Jordan Chen is the man behind the screen. As part of the elite security team for Osbourne Corporation, he has an iron grip on protection, all without having to make close connections with people. Until he meets the beautiful Jay, and suddenly his quiet life doesn’t seem so perfect anymore. He needs more. He needs her.

A workaholic to her core, Jay Rose doesn’t have a lot of men in her life. Smiling in the face of her enemies gets her the results she wants at work, but doesn’t exactly project a warm, welcoming vibe. So she’s surprised when the enigmatic security expert strikes up a friendship with her—surprised but flattered, and maybe a little bit turned on.

A company as powerful as Osbourne Corporation has powerful enemies, and when Jay becomes a target, Jordan realizes there’s nothing he won’t do to bring her home safe.

Review:
Jordan has his eyes and computer on Jay. He falls head over heels for her with their first meeting. He begins having lunch with her at work, listening, not talking much. They learn so much about each other. They build a friendship. Jordan soon makes his move and is not disappointed by Jay's response. I love these two together, their respect for each other and their banter kept me smiling. Jay is a very hard worker and Jordan encourages that. The plot twist and the mystery soon take over and soon you are asking who did that and why. Jordan and his crew are on it and soon have their man. I loved the flow and execution of this story. It kept me on my toes from beginning to end.

Review:

Baxter's story takes us from high school until adulthood. Baxter's dream is to be big in the music industry. Who knew that those dreams would have dire consequences? When they reconnect it's like they were never separated. They have a lot to work through and Baxter has his past issues consistently in their faces. It was a good book with a good plot.

MEET THE AUTHOR:
Josephine Traynor is very good at keeping secrets - she’s been a closeted writer for years, but only got brave enough last year to show her writer friend a small chunk of what she’d written.

She’s a mother of two small boys and only told her husband about her book when it was completed. God knows what he thought she was doing on the computer for all those hours!

Josephine’s a lover of tea and has a thing for all things that smell like vanilla. She loves a good book that makes her laugh and has heaps of character growth. She aims to write books that inspire, cause sore stomach muscles and have memorable characters for all the right reasons.

His message from that book was for everyone to be brave in this world and to make their mark. Josephine is now living her dream of bringing her imaginary friends to life and having readers fall in love with them. "This story was brutal truth wrapped in hope, courage and unflinching love. It's a must read. It's a STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING AND READ THIS NOW kind of book. Don't hold your breath, this story will steal it from you." - J. Sterling, NYT Bestselling Author
A FORBIDDEN LOVE SET IN THE EXPLOSIVE WORLD OF THE NBA... Think you know what it's like being a baller's girl? You don't. My fairy tale is upside down. A happily never after. I kissed the prince and he turned into a fraud. I was a fool, and his love - fool's gold. Now there's a new player in the game, August West. One of the NBA's brightest stars. Fine. Forbidden. He wants me. I want him. But my past, my fraudulent prince, just won't let me go. *Author's Note: There are aspects of this story that may be sensitive for some readers.

“Iris?” August’s frown, the concern on his face, in his voice, remind me where I am. “Baby, you okay?”
I blink down at him dumbly, swallowing my tears, eating my memories whole and digesting a nightmare from long ago. I nod, my lips a cold, wobbly curve.
“Kiss me,” he whispers, his eyes so tender, so intent.
I remember a magical night under the stars, under a streetlight on the eve of greatness. A night filled with laughter and confidences, pregnant with promise. And I see him so clearly, my prince, asking for a kiss.
And I do.
I kiss him like the world might end tonight because I’ll never take this for granted. Not his kindness, when I’ve known cruelty all too well. Not his tenderness, when I’ve been handled roughly in the past. Not his love, when I’ve been possessed and owned and mistreated.
He thaws me with his kiss, my prince, and I melt into him. We’re chest to chest, with August’s number crushed between us. I take his cock in my hand, aligning our bodies, and two become one in a carnal slide of flesh. I anchor myself by my elbows hooked around his neck, and we kiss until I’m dizzy and our breaths tangle in a cloud of bliss. Under the jersey, his palm spans my back, digging into the naked flesh as our hips lock and roll and grind. My body clenches around him, and we pray, we curse, we moan, we mate like our bodies were made for this moment.
Ours is a love that reimagines—that peels back the sky at high noon searching for the stars, collecting them like shells in a bucket. We bathe in stardust, drink from the Milky Way, and dance on the moon. We pierce the firmament, peer into infinity, and tread on time and space. There is no before. There is no after. Now gives birth to forever. This moment may die, but this love never will. Time is not a line. It’s a circle, and we, August and Iris, we stand at the center.

Review:
If this one doesn't pull at your heartstrings then I don't know what will. We meet August while sitting at a bar. He is a little down a little nervous and not really looking for anything or anyone. He hears Iris yelling at the TV. He's a goner by the first glance. These two, man, they have a long long road until its alright. Iris thinks she is in love, she thinks she knows what her future will hold, and she couldn't be more wrong. Who knew the monster is in her bedroom? Who knew that he would hold her future in the palm of his hand? Who knew that escaping wasn't an option? Kennedy gives us details, she gives us emotions, and she will make you tear up if not cry. You will wonder how Iris will get out of her situation. Will she be able to move on? Will August become apart of her life ever? You will fall in love with August. This man fights for his feelings. He works hard to make a woman with no trust to trust. He does everything in his power to make things right. This was an incredible way to begin this series.

Release with Review:: Mr. So Wrong by R.C. Stephens

Title: Mr. So Wrong
Author: R.C. Stephens
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: March 19, 2018

Albert Walsh the Third has spent over a decade running away from his past. With no job and nothing to lose, he goes on a spontaneous drive to visit his sister in the mountains of Colorado. The simple trip proves to be more than he bargained for.

Samantha Belmont is floating through life. She’s cast her dreams aside and now works on her papa’s ranch. One night, Sam is driving home in a snow storm after a hookup when she spots a car in a ditch and saves a man’s life. She doesn’t expect to develop feelings for the hot as hell stranger. Everything about him is wrong from his pointy shoes and fancy car to his age. Pushing him away would be the smart move.
Only Al can’t be pushed around anymore. Maybe it’s because she saved his life or maybe it’s because this cowgirl is completely different from every other woman he’s been with.
Problem is Sam has secrets of her own. Secrets she doesn’t want Al to find out because if he did he’d run in the other direction. She pushes him away even though he melts her panties right off—literally. There is more than just her heart that needs protection. Al won’t give up fighting for the feisty cowgirl’s attention. Tempers will flare and hearts will be broken. And Sam’s plans to never settle down will be torched like the inferno of passion raging between them.

Review
Al's story is nothing like I thought it would be. Sam is not the girl you would picture immediately with Al after meeting him in Mr. All Wrong. He is a lawyer, a right hand guy, a rich man. He drives fast cars and likes many women. When he becomes stranded in a small town he is really out of place.
Samantha is working on her daddy's ranch and just trying to keep going. Her heart has been broken many times over and she refuses to continue for that happen, no matter how attracted she really is to Al. She tries to fend him off, gives him no over and over. She keeps her distance.
Al, gosh I loved him, he just pushed and pushed. He let his heart open and it quickly was broken. He stood up to Samantha's past and gave it the finger and told her to keep going with him. He wanted to fight her demons with her. Al is the first person in her life to ask her what she wanted, if she cared, and what were her thoughts. These two grow up a lot together.

R.C. Stephens was born in Toronto, Canada. She graduated from York University with a master's Degree in Political Science.
R.C. is an avid reader, so when she isn't cooking for her clan or on her laptop writing, she's snuggled tight with her Kindle devouring any romance novel she can. Okay, with the exception of Thursday nights. She makes time for Scandal and Vampire Diaries. She's a fan of drama and suspense but she's also a sucker for a happy ending.
Her husband was her first teenage love. They live together with their three children in Toronto. Loving Canadian winters she could never think of living anywhere else.
