Read:: On a Tuesday (One Week, #1) by Whitney G.

This was one of Facebook's recommendations, the sponsored post kept coming up and i kept sharing on my facebook, I Dont Get Sundays. So after seeing it a few times, I got curious, I loved the blurb and I wanted to know what happened to these two.

I found out. I went on the ride and I found out. Whitney takes us on a heart breaking, breathe stopping ride. When someone changes you, when someone becomes your whole life then up and disappears, it changes your course of life.

Grayson and Charlotte made my heart sink and beat faster. Their story kept me on edge until the last page. Whitney does such a great job taking us back to when it all began and taking us to the present. We are able to see how great it was and how it all crashed down.

The emotion and feeling of this story will suck you in so don't have anything planned until you finish. Grayson will have you waiting for a man that will treat you that well and Charlotte will open any insecurities you think you might have taken care of. You feel with these two, you want to make it all better.

We met on a Tuesday.
Became best friends, then lovers, on a Tuesday.
And it all fell apart on a Tuesday...

Charlotte Taylor has three automatic strikes in my book: 1) She hates me. She also claims that I'm a "domineering jerk with a huge, overbearing ego." (I do have something huge. It's not my ego, though.) 2) She takes our mandatory tutoring sessions way too seriously. 3) She's sexy as hell...And a virgin.

At least, those were her strikes before our study sessions started lasting longer than they were supposed to. Until one innocent kiss became a hundred dirty ones, and until she became the first woman I ever fell hard for.

Our future together after graduation was supposed to be set:
Professional football for me. Law school for her.

But she left me at the end of the semester with no explanation, and then she completely disappeared from my life.

Until tonight.

We met on a Tuesday.
Became everything, then nothing, on a Tuesday.
And now it's seven years later, on a Tuesday...

**This is a second chance romance, inspired by Adele's "When We Were Young"**

Author: Kim Karr
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: September 27, 2017

Blurb

Get ready to fall in love with this new standalone sports romance from New York Times bestselling author Kim Karr.

He’s the newly drafted quarterback.
Hot. Arrogant. Too sexy for words.
Ready to score.

I’m an athletic intern, and the coach’s daughter.
Driven. Determined. Prepared to conquer the world.
Completely off-limits.

You get the picture.

The NFL is full of rules. Rules I’ve never broken. Never challenged. Never even scratched—until the day Lucas Carrington crashes into my life with his hard body and I-don’t-give-a-f*ck attitude.

After I almost injure my father’s star player, I volunteer to make sure he’s in top shape. At first, it’s hell. I don’t like his cockiness, his easy smile. Don’t like the way he oozes sex. Or how his penetrating eyes follow me everywhere.

That doesn’t stop me from wanting him.

He’s meant to be a distraction—something to occupy my mind for these precious few remaining hot summer nights before I’m forced to leave football behind forever.

I know what we’re doing will lead nowhere good. I know we’re crossing the line. And I know my father will never understand.

None of that matters.

But maybe it should.

Rules aren’t meant to be broken.

Or are they?

Review:
Loved this one. This is a sports romance and has all the good stuff in it: football, banter, and chemistry. Kim takes us on a journey with the daughter of the coach that is trying to make it in sport medicine. She loves her life, she loves the way she was raised, and she loves being able to do what she loves. She is interning for her father when she meets Lucas. The hail Mary of her dad's football team. She knows he is important to her fathers plan and knows she should stay away.

Lucas doesn't want to be in Chicago, doesn't want anything to do with Chicago but here he is still, stuck. He is doing what he loves though: football. He wants to be the best and continue until goals are met. Training camp stinks until he meets a strawberry blonde that quickly grabs his attention.

Their friendship is what I loved. They talked. They got to know one another. They knew each other's history. They didn't let each other off the hook when facing a problem, they challenged each other. It stinks that their relationship does have an expiration date. They take full advantage of knowing this will last a little while and get everything out of it they can.

Kim does such a good job of relating the feelings of the characters to us, she makes you feel like you are sitting on the bridge with them listening to their secrets. You get to know some of the other characters and feel like part of the team. It was quiet entertaining, funny, and sexy.

Disappointed, she unwrapped her arms from her body, and then pivoted on her toe in the direction of the open door. “Then it looks like we have nothing further to discuss, Lucas.”
I reached for her and tugged her to me. “I don’t want to want you,” I breathed, my mouth hovering just centimeters from hers.
Gillian tried to pull away, but not whole-heartedly. If she wanted me to let her go, I would have, but I knew she didn’t. “Then stop,” she sighed.
I took her face in my hands. “I can’t. I don’t know how to.”
“Neither do I,” she whispered.
Unable to stop myself, I crashed my lips to hers and drove my tongue into her mouth to retrace every inch that I had explored days ago.

Release with Review:: Fix Me Not by Carey Heywood

Title: Fix Me Not
Series: The Fix Series Book 2
Author: Carey Heywood
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Release Date: September 22, 2017
Paige Sullivan's life is a train wreck. In a matter of months she lost her business, her swanky apartment, and her big city life. Now she's stuck in Nowhere, New Hampshire, sleeping on her mom's couch. If that wasn't bad enough, she's forced to do odd jobs for money. She has a plan though, and once she's saved enough, she's out of there. That is, as long as she doesn't murder her sexy new employer first.

Asher Thompson is the ruggedly handsome hermit of the Thompson clan. Tall, ridiculously sexy despite his beard, and annoyingly aloof, his main concern is his privacy. He fills his days with his work as a carpenter and the peaceful solitude of his lake house. A peaceful solitude that vanished the moment Paige Sullivan stormed into his life, hell-bent on driving him crazy.
The problem is, opposites attract and each time they cross paths she works her way further under his skin.
“Here,” Paige says, passing me a water and a plate of fries through my window. I’m back in the parking lot of the Moose tonight, parked right next to Millie’s Explorer. “Are you trying to drug me?” I had asked. She shrugs her slender shoulders. “Consider it a truce.” I’ve finished all of the fries and am still working on my drink when she returns an hour or so later. “Shouldn't you be playing with your wood?” I choke on my water. “This your idea of a truce?” I ask, once I’m done coughing. “Humor me,” she says, leaning against my door. “You hired my mom so you wouldn't have to leave your land. Now you're leaving it every day to stalk me. What gives?” My head jerks back. “I am not stalking you.” She presses her lips together before a bubble of laughter escapes. “What would you call it?” I frown partly at her question and more so at the way she's acting. “Why are you being nice to me?”

So if you have many siblings and one is a hermit, you would bet that he would be the last to meet his forever, right? Well enter Paige, the daughter of his housekeeper and you might want to take that bet back. This story was funny and sweet.

Asher is the loner, out on his own in his workshop most of the time. He likes his time alone, choosing not to part take in outings with a lot of people. He makes beautiful pieces of furniture that allows him to work from home. He has built himself quite a life, a housekeeper that does his shopping and life is running smoothly until he doesnt have his awesome housekeeper any longer.

Paige had built herself a very successful business in NY, she doent want to be back home, but things happen and they happen fast. She needs to stay busy while back at home, so she gets a few different jobs. She proves to be hard working and determined to get her life back.

These two think they are complete opposites, not giving each other a chance until they do. Once they take off the gloves, they find out they have a lot in common and enjoy being around each other. If Noah thought Finley brought Asher out of his shell, he is shocked to see what Paige does to him.

During this we get a little of each sibling and their parents again. I love that Carey keeps you up to date on the rest of the family and what is going on in their lives along with the main characters. The Thompson family is making a space in my heart.

Release with Review:: Complication on Ice by S.R. Grey

Title: Complications on Ice
Series: A Boys of Winter Novel
Author: S.R. Grey
Genre: Sports Romance / RomCom
Release Date: September 18, 2017

"This is book three in The Boys of Winter Series and I have read all of them and I have to say this one is my favorite. The writing and the sports. I love hockey. Best sport ever. That is one the things I love best about S.R. Grey, she includes the game." ~ Alpha Book Club

"I love this series, but omg Benny stole a piece of my heart. What's not to love about a hot hockey player who loves doughnuts, is hilarious and is so much in love he is prepared to forgive almost anything." ~ Jackie, MI Bookshelf Blog
"I had everyone staring, I was laughing so hard." ~ Books and Boys Book Blog

Fun-loving professional hockey player Benjamin “Benny” Perry is all about scoring, both on and off the ice. With his good looks and easygoing personality, women flock to him, which is great. It keeps things the way this Las Vegas Wolves forward likes—uncomplicated.
Too bad that’s all about to change.
When Benny decides to get back at his coach by pursuing his daughter, Eliza, who’s just returned to town under mysterious circumstances, complications abound. What begins as a simple conquest becomes anything but when Benny starts to really fall for Eliza.
But something is up.
Though Eliza seems to be as into him as he is to her, Benny senses she’s hiding something.
Or maybe she’s hiding someone.
Benny would never guess Eliza is hiding a baby—her baby. But it doesn’t end there. The father of her child just happens to be a hockey player too. And he’s Benny’s biggest nemesis.
Now he’s joining the team. Talk about complicated!
Complications on Ice is the 3rd standalone novel in the bestselling Boys of Winter hockey romance series.

Dylan Culderway, a premier defenseman on our team, kicked things off by making a joke about how I better keep my horny self far away from Coach’s daughter.
“I heard she’s back in town,” Dylan said.
“Oh, yeah,” I mumbled disinterestedly, “where was she before?”
I didn’t keep fucking tabs on these kinds of things.
“D.C., apparently,” Dylan replied. “At college, I guess.”
“Oh, really?” I perked up. So she was young, hmm… “You say she’s back in Vegas?” I said.
“Yep.”
I then asked a very pertinent question, “Is she hot?”
Dylan laughed. “Dude, Coach already has it out for you. I’m telling you, he’d annihilate your ass if you ever tapped his precious daughter.”
Ignoring the warning, I replied, “What’s her name?”
“Eliza.”
“Eliza, eh?”
I liked the way it rolled off my tongue. Better yet, this could be my chance to exact revenge on Coach T for treating me like a pariah.
“What does this Eliza look like?” I asked Dylan. I didn’t want to hit on the wrong girl.
“Not sure,” he replied. “I’ve never met her. Since her dad doesn’t want her around any hockey players, I don’t think she’s ever been here at the arena.”
But then Jaxon Holland, a second-line center, jumped in and said, “I’ve met her.”
“And…?” I queried.
He let out a low whistle. “She’s a hot piece of ass, just your type, Perry. A tiny, little thing…” He outlined an hourglass shape with his hands, and I was salivating by the time he got to “…curvy as fuck, too.”
“That’s it. I have to meet this Eliza,” I declared.
“Go for it.” Holland laughed.
He could be a real dog like me, as demonstrated when he went on to say, “There’s nothing better than drilling a chick with hips like that. You can really grab on and go to town.”
When he mimicked a fucking motion, we all cracked up.
Except for Brent Oliver, captain of our team, who was frowning as he said, “You better stay away from Eliza, Benny. Dylan’s right. Coach T is crazy protective of her. He despises the idea of his daughter dating a hockey player.”
“Huh, I wonder why that is?” I mused.
Brent shrugged. “I don’t know, but weren’t you here the day he told us she was off-limits?”
I thought about it and couldn’t recall. “I must’ve been running late that day,” I concluded.
“Probably busy buying a chocolate donut,” someone yelled.
I swung my head around to see who the smartass was. Probably one of the younger guys, as the rookies always had commentary.
“Who said that?” I wanted to know. No one fessed up, and I mumbled, “Pussies.”
“Anyway,” Brent resumed, “Coach T made a big point of telling us to stay the fuck away from her. He promised there’d be consequences if any of the players asked her out.”
“Ha, ask her out? Who said I wanted to date her?” I volleyed back, mimicking, slow and easy, the same fucking motion Jaxon had a few minutes ago.
Everyone lost it then, including Brent. Though I did hear him mutter under his breath, “It’s your funeral, man.”
It’ll be worth it, I thought.
I liked that Eliza was off-limits. What a stellar way to get back at Coach for riding me so hard and unnecessarily lately.

Review:
Eliza finds herself in a tough position. Returning home isn't exactly where she wanted to be going in life but she needs the help. She is trying to figure out life. She is trying to figure the whole adult thing, but growing up sometimes is hard to do.

Benny is moving up the ranks on his team. He is trying to earn the respect of the coach. He decides if Coach wont like him, maybe his daughter will.

These two have to work out a lot of kinks but they do see eye to eye at one point. Eliza leads Benny on and with his past he cant take a player. After they figure out where they stand, they are a couple to be reckoned with. He wants nothing but to take care of Eliza and her child and Eliza wants nothing but Benny.
