Read:: Levi's Blue by M. Leighton

So this one kept popping up in my feed as a recommended read, I kept ignoring it and finally hit 'one-click'. It was one of the smartest things i have done this year. I loved reading Evie and Levi's story.

This was one of the most unique stories that i have had the pleasure of reading. We meet Evie, an artist at a art show, trying to sell her paintings. A blind painter, a very capable and independent woman. Evie was strong, determined and didn't let her disability shorten her future. Although dating may be her weakest link.

Levi is a guest at art show and once Evie lands in his arms, he is hooked. These two were great with a lot of ups and downs. The feels in this story kept you on edge until the end.

I am thankful that it kept being talked about, staying in my feed, so that this story could be read. This is definitely a top read of 2016.

Four beautiful days. Three steamy nights. One breathtaking love.

Levi Michaelson. He wanted four dates. Four opportunities to prove I could trust him. Four chances to change my mind about him.

I agreed.

Probably not my smartest decision. He was everything I knew to avoid--gorgeous, charming, sexy as hell--but I couldn't help myself. When he touched me the whole world disappeared. I should've known I could lose myself to him, that he could be the one man to destroy me.

I guess it's true what they say--some things are too good to be true. And Levi Michaelson might just be one of them.

Unzip the brand new sexy, southern standalone romance from M. Leighton that is guaranteed to make you sweat and make you swoon.

HEA. Standalone.  Intended for mature audiences.

Read:: For the Love of English by A.M. Hargrove

I don't know what the attraction is for single dads but it's there and its heavy. It gets me every time when a book is out. This description grabbed me. The concept is good, single dad, living his life, smart kid when the mom comes back in the picture. Suddenly he needs a wife. Why not choose your kids teacher? Who wouldn't want a teacher in the home? However everything works against them when they are working towards a relationship.

Beck isn't an easy guy. He had been burned once and that fence he built is high. He is rough around the edges and just wants his daughter taken care of.

Sheridan is a new teacher trying to make her way into the lives of these young minds. She and English hit it off in class. English is really smart and grown for her age. She tells it how it is and is honest.

The whole story was a lot of back and forth. Two adults not knowing how to communicate or work with each other until it comes crashing down and they have to face reality. They see that living without each other is worse than not. They see that even though it started as a plot to keep English with her dad, they do fall in love.

From USA Today Bestselling Author, A.M. Hargrove, comes a New Adult, Single Dad, Sexy, Stand Alone Romance

Single Dad, Beckley Bridges, is sexy as hell.
No, really, he’s the hottest thing since the sun was created.
Honest to God, crack an egg on him and the thing will sizzle.
So what’s the problem?
He’s also a gigantic jerk.
I hate the bastard.
I try to avoid him at all costs.
But for some reason, everywhere I go he seems to show up.

Only the real issue is his daughter, English.
She’s an adorable quirky first-grader who’s the sweetest thing since iced tea.
And she’s one of my students but also the love of his life.
So I have to deal with him on a professional level.
It’s not easy.
On a scale of easy to hard, dealing with Beckley Bridges is like nails screeching across a blackboard.

But when English’s mother tries to gain custody after abandoning her on Beckley’s doorstep as an infant, he’ll do anything possible to keep her under his roof.

That’s how he ends up propositioning me.

And crazy as it sounds?

I find myself considering it.

*This is a full-length, stand-alone, novel, with no cliffhangers, and an HEA. It contains mature content and is not suitable for younger readers.

Read:: The Anderson Brothers Series by Kristin Coley

This series surprised me from the start. A teen pregnancy turns into a sweet love story. Although getting there was a way that you can feel and see happening. It isn't all roses and happiness. It's hard and a lot of work. The pregnancy causes a rift between a child and her parents. A break up of a high school romance so that a future isnt lost. A found love that Ford didn't know was there. Ford and Hannah decide to take care of this child after the idea of adoption isn't as great as Hannah had once believed.

These two didn't become lovers overnight, they just felt a deep connection. They worked together to make a home, to make a future, and to try to do best by the baby and their family. I did feel bad for Colt. His guy thinks he wasn't good enough for his girlfriend to be dumped only to come home and find a baby. Talk about heart break.

Colt's story picks up 4 years later. He has completed college, joined the NFL and is living his life. He has completely ignored his family. He has made his own life leaning on his team. He is lonely. How could he not be, his best friend and girl are raising his child. He has yet to come to terms with that.

These stories were endearing. I loved them. They were realistic and made you feel what they were going through. I loved the life lessons that each went through.

This is the complete Anderson Brothers series. Includes Finding Ford, Chasing Colt, and Loving Livie.

Finding Ford: A teen pregnancy knocks life off course for Hannah. When she decides not to tell her boyfriend about the pregnancy a chain of events are set in motion that no one could have predicted. The bond between brothers will be tested as secrets come to light and a new love is found.

Chasing Colt: It's been four years since Colt found out about his child. A successful career hasn't filled the emptiness that comes from past betrayals though. A chance encounter with a beautiful dreamer could be his chance to find love and forgive the past if he can learn to trust again.

Loving Livie: Rich, smart, beautiful, and aloof. Olivia has always been there for her friends. But for Beckett she would always be his Livie. The one he drove away with his secrets. Discover the past that Livie has tried to put behind her and the man that believes their love is worth a second chance.

Come fall in love with the Anderson Brothers and the women that captured their hearts.

A clean and sexy romance series that has been called heartwarming and humorous.

"Penned with humor and heart, this novel reminds us that love conquers all and sometimes in the most unexpected ways."
"Easy read as unpredictable as life itself. Heartwarming and humourous story about the complexities of love and life."
"Miss Coley's excellent writing skills had me cheering for this couple when I could have been rolling my eyes in disgust. Nicely Done!"

AP new - excerpt.jpg

I’m supposed to be here to help her, but I can’t help what happens next.  She squeezed my fingers. A gentle tug was all it took.
My mouth nearly crushes hers as I take our first kiss.

Her lips taste innocent as they open, my tongue lighting up with the first flavor of her.  Something rumbles out of me like a pained groan, because it hurts.  This kind of intensity hurts in a spectacular way.

Her tongue answers me with its movement, her own sweet, tiny sounds that make my dick shatter the ceiling of the space available in my pants.  He’s curling in half as he grows, and I hope she doesn’t notice.

If I had my way, I’d hear that tiny moan every second of every day for the rest of my life.  It’s more than beautiful; it calls to me.

It’s lips and soft moans and the soft click of teeth meeting teeth before I break away, my hand grasping possessively around the side of her face.  My thumb rasping back and forth in an attempt to feel as much of her soft skin as it can.  My fingertips digging harder than they should into the back of her neck, bringing my forehead to rest on hers.

“I’m sorry.”  My face is flushed, I’m shaking.  “I shouldn’t have done that.”

My head is throbbing, along with my balls.  They are tight against my body and something inside me is born.  Something that wants her in a way that frightens me.  An obsession explodes and I’m not sure I can tame it enough to keep from hurting her.  I want my cum dripping from her; I want to feel her flesh to flesh from the inside.  I need her vulnerable, available, spread for me to enjoy and make filthy with me.  Never before has a woman ignited this kind of lust, these kinds of thoughts, and frankly I’m scared shitless.

“I’m not sorry,” she murmurs as I desperately try to regain control of the animal she’s created in me.

The air in the room seems to disappear.  My lungs ache but inside my head, I think, who needs oxygen?  I have only one need and she is the only way to satiate that need.

The idea that this innocent beauty and I are sharing similar thoughts is enough to make me nearly cum in my pants.  Drops of liquid are already soaking through the fabric below my waist, and I think I would need another ten layers to hide her effect on me.

The sight of her cheeks rising pink, the way her nipples greet my gaze from under the faded hospital gown, make me want to tear the offending fabric into shreds and have her never be clothed around me again.  Who is this dominant beast?  I’m the ever reserved, commanding, cool leader.  Always in control.

Not now.  If I had my way, I’d slam the furniture against the door of this room and take her right here.  A single word thrums in my head.  It won’t stop as much as I try to push it away.

Mine.  Mine.  Mine.

I fight the urge to crawl on top of her and make her filthy in ways I never imagined before her. But with the taste of her lips, thoughts of my cum inside her are fighting with the civilized parts of me to maintain some control.

I imagine slicing my tongue between her dripping cunt lips for the first time.  It’s one of many things I’ve never done before.  My words growling into her body, saying every filthy word I can think of as I breathe her in and swallow her flavor.

I imagine the subtle differences in the texture of her skin on my tongue, the ripples and folds, the hard nub where I want to draw her between my lips and consume the very essence of her.  I want to make love to her with my mouth for hours.

EXCERPT

“Ground rules. You feel up to making them now?” She nodded. I rubbed my palms on my sweats. “You start.”
“One: Whatever we talk about, whatever I tell you, whatever you tell me, stays between us. I don’t share with my friends. You don’t share with yours.”
The smirk I loved made an appearance. “That’s your ground rule?” The admonishment in her voice was almost laughable. “Whatever.” She rolled her eyes. “Fine. I think you’re hot. Until you talk. Then you just bug me.” I laughed, but she continued, “Three: Our significant others come first. We don’t blow them off to spend time with each other.”
“You have a boyfriend I don’t know about?” The words came out before I could stop them, and I could tell by the irritated look on her face that I hadn’t hidden the jealous tone. “Have someone in mind?” I asked, my voice a little more even.
“Not yet,” she snapped. “But, when I do, I won’t be blowing off weekend plans with him to stay home and take care of you. You need to put Whitney first. I’ll understand. When it’s my turn, you’ll understand.”
“Speaking of, we don’t talk about them. Whitney and your mystery guy.”
“Ever? How is that a good rule?” she demanded, scowling. “No. Four: We can talk about whoever we’re dating, but we can’t complain.”
“You can’t change my rule.”
“I didn’t change it. I simply used my turn to overrule yours.”
“You made two rules. If you make two, I get two.”
“You are such a pain.” She sighed dramatically. “Go ahead, make two.”
“Sex,” she interrupted. “We never talk about sex. I can’t think of anything else.”
“Sex,” I agreed. “Five: We never talk about sex. I mean it.”
She lifted a shoulder in a half-shrug. “That’s all you, buddy. I’m not the one who has a girlfriend.”
“When you do, we don’t talk about it.”
“Not a problem. Girls are pretty and all, but they’re not my thing,” Lia sassed, completely undaunted as if this was the rule she wasn’t taking seriously. “That’s one. What’s your next rule?”
Needing to make sure she understood this, above all else, was the one we needed to follow, I clasped my hands and leaned forward. I didn’t need to say anything, just gave her a pointed look. She knew me well enough to understand I was getting agitated.
“Isn’t this against your rules? We’re talking about it right now.”
“Lia,” I growled in warning. I knew her just as well as she knew me. “Not talking about it means you don’t ask questions. You don’t ask my opinion. You don’t tell me one tiny detail simply because you insist it’s something I have to know.”
“Good God! This entire conversation is embarrassing. I’m not going to have sex, but if I do, I swear to all that is holy that I will not mention it to you!” The blush crept up her cheeks as she threw her hands in the air annoyed. She was too fucking cute.

~ Sometimes, one degree is all that separates you from the one you were meant to be with ~
Wes Bergman was sex on a stick.
We’d been circling one another our entire lives, mingling at the same clubs... attending the same events…sharing mutual acquaintances…yet we’d never actually met.
Until . . . we both boarded a Windjammer Cruise in the Caribbean. And it was like meeting my long, lost best friend for the first time. I hadn’t ever connected with a guy that way before. But Wes had a girlfriend. So, when the week was over, he walked off the ship, unknowingly taking a piece of my heart with him.
Now, over a decade later, newly divorced, I’m the proverbial fish out of water. Dating has totally changed. Apps. Swipe left. Swipe right. Catfishing. Men my age want two things: twenty-five-year-olds—like my ex’s new child bride of a wife—or just a quick hook-up.
After a string of bad dates, I finally did something I never thought I’d do. I had a hot one-night stand with a really handsome guy I met online who didn’t even know my real name.
Turned out Mr. Fling is a big shot for my company’s newest client. And just my luck, that client’s CEO is none other than . . . Wes Bergman. Now I’m separated by one degree again from the man who stole my heart. And Mr. Fling could destroy my chance of what I want most –
A Do-Over with Wes.
