Read:: Only His by Madison Rose

Holy cow a lot happens in this novella. What happens when your two favorite authors combine their talents? KABOOM that's what happens. Its like pinky and the brain finally took over the world.

We are brought right in the middle of Emma learning that Liam is not her Liam. He is the world's bad boy movie star. He has a really horrible reputation of being with women. Emma automatically goes into defense mode, she needs to protect herself. She needs space. She needs to get out of this situation.

Liam goes right into protective mode. Nothing will hurt HIS. No one dictates who he loves or who is he is with. Emma is the first person to make him feel worth more than just the movie stuff and he is not going to lose that.

Natasha and Aurora really put it all in there, I felt the emotion. These two teaming up and creating this masterpiece was fantastic for a quick, witty, sexy summer read.

I had no idea he was a sought after movie star and one of the most eligible bachelors in the world. I thought he was only mine, until one picture turned my life upside down.

She can fight it all she wants, but I knew the moment we met that she'd be mine, and I'm never giving her up.

I tried to deny it, but in the end I know I'm Only His.

Trace

I'm Alabama's star wide receiver. I've got mad skills on and off the field, and it's no secret I'm heading into the draft after the upcoming season. But I’m home for the summer to make some cash before my senior year. Being back under my parents' roof isn't the ideal situation, but the moment I see Marin, the star of my adolescent fantasies, I know it's about to get interesting. She may not have noticed me back then, but I've got a feeling it's just a matter of time before she lets me turn those fantasies into reality.

Marin

The last time I saw Trace Forester he was just a kid tearing up the neighborhood on his skateboard. That was when I was foolish enough to think I had the perfect husband and the perfect life. But now my life is in shambles and Trace is back, all grown up, hot as hell, and exuding major confidence. It would be so easy to fall for his good looks and undeniable charm. So easy to let him into my life. Too bad I learned the hard way that nothing worth having ever comes easy.

Review:
Ever wish you could be 19 again? No, not really, but what about dating one? Well Marin is about to find out how wonderful that can be. Marin finds herself on her own raising her adorable 5 year old son, CJ. All she wants is a man around to teach him things like basketball, football, and to have someone to look up to.

Trace is back home for the summer, in between semesters at college. He is cocky, confident, and fun. He enjoys spending time with CJ. He has his eye on the prize though. The chemistry with these two will almost blow up your kindle screen. The back and forth of their relationship will have you quickly wanting to finish so that you can see what happens with this perfectly imperfect pair.

Although he is 10 years younger than Marin, Trace is mature, he is on her level with making her feel special, and he takes are of her and CJ as they have been his family for a long time.

The writing, the storyline, and the words all make this book one of my favorites. The feelings, the gut wrenching truths of adulthood, and the nasty things people do to each other make you want to hug Marin. My heart was on Trace's side the whole time Marin was trying to figure out life.

Excerpt

“You sleep with him yet?” Gayle asked.
“Oh my god. What is wrong with you?”
“Me? Have you seen the guy?”
Outside, Trace tossed the football gently so CJ had a slight chance of actually catching it. He didn’t. It bounced off the grass in front of him, but he ran after it, laughing as he did. “Yes, I've seen the teenager in my backyard.”
“He’s not a teenager.”
“Yes, he is. I looked it up. He’s nineteen.”
There was a pause on her end, like she just realized I was a sicko who’d actually looked him up. “Who cares? You’re single and he’s hot. Have you seen him in his uniform? The guy could be a freakin’ underwear model.”
I laughed as I turned from the window and moved into the living room. “No. At least not in person.” I’d seen pictures on the internet.
“Girl. When are you ever gonna have a hot piece of ass under your roof again?” Gayle asked.
I scoffed. “You’re acting like he sees me as anything other than a soon-to-be-divorced woman with a kid who needs a guy around.”
“Marin, you’re beautiful and fun. You deserve to get some action.”
“You do realize you're encouraging me to jump his bones, right?”
“I never said jump his bones. Just wear something tight. Bend over and let him see your hot ass. You’d barely have to do anything.”
“You’re insane.” I laughed. “And I could go to jail.”
“Why could you go to jail?” Trace asked from behind me.
I spun around, my eyes bugging out of my head and my heart drumming in my chest. Trace stood in the doorway smirking at me, like he’d heard my conversation.
Had he?

Release with Review:: Where the Night Ends by Melissa Toppen

Title: Where the Night Ends
Author: Melissa Toppen
Genre: Coming to Age Romance
Release Date: July 18, 2017

Hot Books and Sassy Girls Book Blog - “Where the night ends, will leave you emotional and breathless. This one gives you hope for true love and the author did a great job in capturing the emotions of true love.”
My Time Out Book Blog - “I've never experienced so many emotions while reading a book. But at the same time brings back so many memories.”
Book Haven Book Blog - “Completely phenomenal!! This book filled me with nostalgia for the power and longevity of a first time love, and literally brought me to my knees at 3am in a puddled mess on the floor when it was all over because I lost an entire day with Sebastian and Tessa.”

It only takes one night—one moment, one small snippet of time—to change everything. At sixteen-years-old, Sebastian Baxter taught me that. He taught me a lot of things.
He never had to work for my heart. In some unexplainable way I think it had always belonged to him anyway.

We spent years loving each other, hurting each other, trying to forget each other, but no matter how hard I tried, I could never erase the memory of him. His eyes, his smile, his touch—these are all things that are embedded in my brain, tattooed on my skin, and etched into my heart.

Some might think our love story is over, but deep down I know it’s only just beginning.

Because it’s not about where the night begins, it’s about where it ends…

Where the Night Ends is a standalone, coming of age, romance.

Review:
Wow. I was just wowed. This story took us through so much heartache. We meet Tess, 15 years old, and just learning about relationships. Sebastian is the all star football player. He is unhappy with life yet Tess shines a little light. They are instantly stuck to each other's hip. Sebastian would not let her have a moment he wasn't around. It took me right back to high school myself. That boy that grabs your heart and you know he will break it but you just don't want to believe it. I kept waiting for Sebastian to screw up, with the reputation and all. Yet he was perfect.

They have to make hard decisions. I will give Melissa a lot of credit, she allowed these two to find themselves. No one gave up anything or had resentment so that the other could go forward. It was selfish yet mature. It was heartbreaking while peaceful. I was thankful Tess was able to go to her college without feeling like she gave anything up. I am thankful that these two were able to grow up and realize that was happened needed to for themselves.

Sebastian though, he finally has enough, these two are close to mid 20's and still the timing just isn't right. He doesn't care, he comes running for His Girl. I loved the emotion felt in this book. I loved that you felt that heart tug. I loved that it felt real, nothing crazy happened, real life happened. There were areas that I would shake my head remembering my teenage years and decisions that had to made.

This was my first read and it will not be my last.

Review:
A night with an attractive older woman? Why not? Joe didn't think much about his one night with Chloe at his cousin's wedding. This young man loved having his fun and what's a night with a woman you've always thought was good looking? Who knew his life would change forever. I mean forever. This man couldn't wrap his mind around Chloe, this older woman has his head spinning.

Chloe hasn't been with a man in a year or so and the last one made her feel like dirt, so when a younger very sexy cop comes on to her, she thinks its a great time to get back in the game. Who knew the emotional roller coaster that would follow? Who knew that her yearning for everything she didn't know she even wanted would come to the front of her mind?

At around 25% I thought seriously these two were not going to be together. They kept talking about getting to know each other and they could make life work together but not 'be' together. I kept wondering where is Evan going with this one? Would she put them on a path to find other people because their time together didn't work? They spent a lot of this book with hot physical chemistry but the timing just didn't work.

When this young man though decides its time to get off the pot and make a life with Chloe or he will lose her forever, he makes a great move and an effort to be what she needs. I loved that when she was at her weakest and even her dads couldn't get her to eat or sleep, when Joe shows up, she does. He calms her. He takes care of her without even realizing it. I loved everything about this book and am thankful for such a good epilogue showing us that after such tragedy you can have your happily after after and love can make it all better.

A Midwesterner and self-proclaimed nerd, Evan has been an avid reader most of her life, but five years ago got bit by the writing bug, and it quickly became her addiction, passion and therapy. When the voices in her head give it a rest, she can always be found with her e-reader in her hand. Some of her favorites include, Shayla Black, Jaci Burton, Madeline Sheehan and Jamie Mcguire. Evan finds a lot of her inspiration in music, so if you see her wearing her headphones you know she means business and is in the zone.
