A Beautiful Fall Day!
We went down dads today for lunch and a visit. It was one of the most beautiful fall days you could ask for. The girls had a ball. My sister, Jess, raked a huge pile of leaves and Emily jumped her little heart out. Ava swang but eventually warmed up to sitting in the leaves!!

Halloween 2010
This year was Ava's 2nd Halloween. Last year, she was only 4 weeks old and just laid in Kenny's arms and watched football. This year was more fun with a more mobile child. We spent Saturday evening at Jamie and Katys house. They had a little Halloween party and invited kids to come along. Ava made herself right at home, as usual, and played with Emma's kitchen set most of the evening.

On Sunday, we began the day with heading to my dad's for a little fun with Emily and my sisters. Then we stopped at my mom's. She had candy waiting on Ava. Ava did really well in her costume.

(Our little Tiger)

Her costume was actually a zip up sweatsuit so I picked up a onsie to go underneath. I couldnt resist.

Sunday evening we joined our church with "Trunk or Treat" however they are wonderful and set up tables inside so you are warm going through the line. Ava decided to help our cousin Sara hand out candy once we were through with our turn. Handing out shouldnt be the term though because at one point she was throwing candy on the floor and kids were picking it up!

halloween at NMC
The week before Halloween, we celebrated the wonderful holiday here at work. Our team really pulled together and came up with the theme 'GREASE'. I was in love. I love the movie, I can seriously quote it to you. One of my teammates is a Pro DJ, so we even had music playing most of the day from the 50's and from the movie. Our team won the award of most creative team.

The Office Theme Song
Ever watch 'The Office'. My little girl loves that theme song. She can be anywhere in the house and if she hears it then she stops and looks for the tv. She has watched the show since she was born. It's one of my favorites. It just cracks me up. Last night while sitting on the couch playing with her books, the show came on, her head bopped up and she watched it until the song was done then casually went back to her books. Its just so funny.
If you havent heard it, I found a link of someone playing it on their piano, enjoy!

6 years and counting....
Six years ago on October 20, 2004, Kenny and I went on our first date. We went to the movies to see 'Friday Night Lights'.
We met in college, in speech class actually, and I gave him my phone number in September and let him do with it as he wished. He began calling and chatting a little. He's not a big talker so I was thrilled he'd call just to listen to me and see what I had to say. We would stay after class and talk a little. In October he asked after class on Saturday if I wanted to see a movie the next Thursday and I said 'yes'. Well then on Tuesday before, he called me. He wanted to move our date from the 21st (Thursday) to the 20th (Wednesday), I thought he just couldnt wait to spend some time with me and had to see me.
WRONG!!!
WVU played Thursday night and the game was on TV. For everyone that knows Kenny, you know how much he loves his college football and he is a die hard WVU fan. He never did tell me why he wanted to change it until I asked him about it like 4 months later and made his face turn a little red. I guess I wasnt supposed to figure it out. So we went out on Wednesday. It was a great time and a movie, so he didnt have to talk much. He walked me to my car and we said good bye. Thats how it all started. Soon we were going out just about every Saturday night. We would go to dinner and then a movie or over to a friends house to hang out.
Since then we have been inseperatable. We get along great and even when we dont, its not arguing, its discussion. We have great chemistry. I am so thankful I signed up for that Saturday Speech class and got to meet the man of my dreams and know that we are going to spend a lifetime together.
