Release with Review:: Something So Irresistible by Natasha Madison

Max Horton

They call me an outcast like it's a bad thing.

An asshole byproduct of a shitty upbringing. I don't care about anything except myself and my little sister.

I will always protect what’s mine.

With one year left on my hockey contract I'm keeping my head down and my eyes on the goal.

A collision, with her, changes my entire existence.

Allison Grant

Never fall in love with a sports star. That's what my stepfather always said. He told me athletes are complicated and moody—that the higher their paycheck, the lower their morals.

As public relations for the New York Stingers I know exactly what he means, but I can’t seem to say no to a friendship with one beautiful, damaged man.

What started out as hate turned into something else.

We tried to stay away, to keep our distance, but the pull was too strong.

Something forbidden turned into something so irresistible.

Review:
Max is the bad boy, well that's what everyone thinks. He just wants to be left alone. He just wants to play hockey. He is good at his job and he loves it. He is doing what he needs to do for himself and his sister. I loved his relationship with his sister.

Allison is offered a job of a lifetime. Although everyone might think its because of her awesome dad and brother who are hockey God's, it isn't. She more than earns that job thorough the book giving the team an incredible opening day and more time with fans than her predecessor did for them.

These two start out bantering very meanly to each other, then decide to truce, which turns into a heated argument. I laughed at how much each wanted to have the last word. They do eventually become friends that turns into lovers. I loved watching the relationship happen. Nothing too fast, nothing hasty, it turns into respect, then respect turns into love.

Natasha gives us another 5 star book. The details, the banter, and the plot line are all on point. She gives you characters you want to be best friends with. She gives you a family you wish you were a part of. She gives us a look into the lives of people that could be real and we wish they were.

When her nose isn't buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she's in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It's a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn't listen to her...
