Review:

Miranda is living her dream life, making her own schedule, editing novels and enjoying life. She tries to see the best in things, she tries to take care of others. Miranda has a heart of gold. I loved her outlook with life.

Her new neighbor Holden is fighting a lot of demons. He has a new life to get used to. He has a new routine to learn. He isn't taking care of himself. He is so into his head that at times I wanted to hit him.

Miranda, though, she keeps it straight, she tries really hard to take care of Holden. She was so strong most of the time. During it all she believes that Holden is her person. She feels that the chemistry there is there for a reason. Everything they go through together and separately was for the fight of them being together.

I loved Amie's walk through this. I loved that she didn't sugar coat the struggles and the weakness of both characters. I loved that we got to see light banter and heavy crying. Amie showed us that life isn't always fair but you can make the best of it. You can see that light and make it brighter.
