Everyone loves Lucky # 7.
He’s the whole package – smart, athletic, and sexy as sin.
A filthy talking bad boy, he can have any woman he wants.
Except me.
A chance encounter. One unforgettable night.
That’s all we could ever have. At least, that’s what we tell ourselves.
Fate has other plans.
If anyone found out, I would lose my job.
He could lose his scholarship.
Some things are worth the risk.
Sometimes, you have to cross your fingers,
Roll the dice, and hope lady luck is on your side.

This was a refreshing nice light read. Lucky is a star wide receiver and Sunny is a professor at the college where Lucky goes. This story was funny at times. The banter between Lucky and Sunny was nice.
What begins as a one nighter, turns into a infatuation that neither can deny. One night turns into a second, then a weekend, next thing we know we are at the end of the football season.
Sunny tries to keep it on the low down since the man she believes she should be with is also a co worker. Her best friend since childhood is in the dark about this relationship until they believe Sunny will be fired for her actions.
These two had a lot of good chemistry and kept us intrigued until the very end. Oh and Ms. Adams, you did a wonderful job with the epilogue, this is usually my favorite part of the book, and seeing where Sunny and Lucky end melted my heart.
