Read:: Dirty English by Ilsa Madden-Mills

Holy Hotness!!! My first full read of 2016 was this incredible book. Declan is a British fighter trying to find his way in the world, with a mother that left him too soon and a father that doesn't get him. He just wants to run his gym and fulfill his dreams. Elizabeth Bennett got the wrong end of the stick in life. I felt for her. To have your first sexual experience ripped from you and to be scared to love because of not being able to trust anyone is heartbreaking. I personally haven't been through this character's bad times but I did have an experience in high school and the trust factor took a long time to heal. I do understand that people take advantage and use and make fun of someone they don't understand. This book is real, its real things, its not far fetched, its not over the top, it could happen. I think that's why I loved it, these people could be in North Carolina hanging out.

Declan's twin is a hoot, I loved him. I am hoping Dax gets a book. His banter with Elizabeth was great and as much as Declan may have been jealous of his brothers relationship with Elizabeth, it was good this relationship happened. It was a building stone for them to see each other again and come forward with their feelings. As goofy as Dax is through most of the book he tells Elizabeth exactly how it is and that she loves his brother and should be truthful about it.

Here's to more by this author and hearing that sexy British accent in my head every time one of these actors spoke.

A scarred fighter. A girl with rules. One night of unbridled passion. There are three things you need to know about Elizabeth Bennett: she’s smart as a whip, always in control, and lives by a set of carefully crafted rules. She’s learned the hard way that people you love the most always hurt you in the end. But then she meets Declan Blay, the new neighbor at her apartment complex. A tattooed British street fighter, he’s the campus bad boy she’s supposed to avoid, but when he saves her from a frat party gone bad, all her rules about sex and love fly out the window. She gives him one night of unbridled passion, but he longs for more. With only a cardboard-thin wall separating their bedrooms, he dreams of possessing the vulnerable girl next door forever. One night. Two damaged hearts. The passion of a lifetime. *a modern love story inspired by Pride and Prejudice*
