Review:

Beckett and Piper have an unique story as she bucks up to him right away however quickly has remorse. She wants to right things and works hard to do so. Beckett, while trying to manage a whole new life, is grumpy and takes frustrations out on the wrong person. The chemistry for these two is immediate though, Piper is the right push he needs. They work so well together as a team sometimes they forget how it all started. I really loved saying goodbye to this family because I believe this author did it the correct way, we got all the goods and were able to feel amazing how it all was left.

Review:

This was a well told story of two very different yet very similar people. Atlas is gifted a precious gift and he just doesn't know what to do with her. Maddie likes being in control and has been taking care of things on her own for so long, Atlas is an issue for her. These two have a lot of bumps but eventually it smooths out. This journey to an adulthood both didn't know would work for them is a great one to watch. These two learn to work together, make sacrifices, and to compromise to ensure a child is taken care of. As always this family of hockey guys and their women surround Atlas and Maddie in love and they all take care of each other.

Lexi's story is tough, its reality, some people you meet will make you a shell of yourself without you even knowing it. You will go from an independent happy person, to asking if the shirt is okay to wear out, even though you know in your gut there is nothing wrong with it. Lexi, being Viktor's daughter, was also a little rough, with his back story of having to be strong to overcome his addiction. Kirby has watched her from the sidelines, wanting her and knowing she is untouchable. When he gets pulled for a charity auction, he sees all the signs of a woman who is being controlled. Kirby shows Lexi how love is supposed to work. He shows her there are choices to be made by herself and that he is to compromise and work with her through life. This is a beautifully told story of a woman who finds herself again while also finding a man to makes her feel confident.
