Review:
This is a story about learning to live the life you should instead of the life you think you need to. This story is about learning to trust yourself and others when you aren't sure life has anything good for you. Lily is a nomad, she doesn't feel settled in one spot, she has had multiple jobs, and lived in a many places. Barrett lives his life 15 minutes at a time, trying to stay above water while raising his 2 kids. It took a few chapters to peak my interest but once the author had these two grumpy souls cross paths, it was a wonderful story. Lily learns a lot about herself being neighbors with the Kings. I enjoyed watching Barrett start to get excited about life outside of his football team, when he unwound and was home, it was a sight. I cried, laughed, and had my mouth gaped open a little bit, these two will show you how much the heart can grow with the right person.

Review:

I enjoyed Gray and Faye's story, I loved the fact that he let his feelings be known and didn't shy away from them. I loved that she didn't fight too much and it happened as naturally as it can while Gray was going through his divorce. It was a cute story and I enjoyed all his teammates support for them while also getting to know more about shy Faye.
