Oh man, my weekend was made when this hit my book funnel account. This series, this whole set up from the Carolina Cold Fury men has gotten us to a point that social media is big with celebrities now. If they choose to share, we know a lot about them, this is the same with Lucky and Winnie. Lucky has been traded to the Titans, and loves his Tik Tok, where he is goofy, dancing, and shares a little behind the scenes. Winnie uses her social media to share dating, garden, and teaching stories. She has a descent following that helps supplement her teaching salary. When Lucky accepts her dating challenge, she honestly thinks its a mistake. He isn't the average Joe she is looking for, he is actually the opposite. Lucky though, I believe was made for her. These two stole my heart and I cried for Winnie during a pretty serious bullying issue. I loved that Sawyer made this a point, whether she knows it or not, social medial bullying and having teenage girls, its there and its a worry of mine. Bringing this subject to the forefront and making it an issue might make others think twice before they go to their keyboards to harass someone. We see former couples and see a highlight of future stories. I really need to begin these stories earlier than 9 at night so I get some sleep.

In my defense, I had no clue who Vanessa was when we met. We were in a different city. How was I supposed to know she’s my teammate’s stepsister? There’s an age gap, a veteran player falling for his teammate’s stepsister, a woman recovering from a broken heart, sneaking around, a one-night stand, one bed, lots of steam, ridiculous group chats amongst teammates, and a happy ending. Review:  Locke's whole reaction to Nessa being at his captain's house who happens to be her stepbrother is a vibe, he is star struck but cannot make a move. I felt horrible for Vanessa, Hutch is not welcoming to her at all, even after all these years. She felt out of place, not wanted, and coming off a divorce. A divorce she hadn't shared the horrible details of to anyone. She held all that sadness and hurt, I felt all of this. Locke, though, he see her, like all of her. He is the man that she needed to meet at that time in her life. These two make moves in their lives and do not include anyone. They stay in small bubble until Locke needs to tell Hutch. This is when all the emotions do come out and come to the front. They work through them as a team. Locke is right there beside Vanessa and he does it wonderfully. I am really enjoying this series, cannot wait for more.
