Review:

I liked the story line however I didn't connect with these people like I usually with this authors people. I usually fall in love and read too fast. This story was read a little slower but I did enjoy the connection. Diana is finding her way being a woman in a male dominated sport. Hudson is a great player who got lucky enough to get locked in a room with a beautiful woman. These two really did enjoy each other and the journey was fun to be on with them.

Ok, how in the world does she always get better?!? This 2nd generation story is just what the doctor ordered! Jaxon and Ariella are both big personalities in their parents stories. We meet them again, all grown up, and doing life. They are both successful, Jaxon following in his dads footsteps becoming a hockey legend and Ariella working with her mom marketing within the hockey world. Their story seemed quick and full of love. Jaxon doesn't bat an eye when she comes to him and needs his support. These two really just held my heart and I loved watching them grow as a couple. Jaxon gives us the alpha strong man, while also just being a teddy bear. Seeing some of our favorites from prior books is also a perk of reading about our second generation. I hope to see so much more from our favorites families.

When her nose isn’t buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she’s in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. I enjoyed this cute little story. Two souls who needed each other and met at the right time. We go on a trip with their hearts as they navigate life and finding themselves. This was a sweet story and I am so thankful to have found Kaylene Winter. I hope to read her again soon.
