Lexi
Wyatt MacNeill was my high school crush. Now he's my boss. But the boy who stole my teenage heart has now become the man who is the bane of my existence. He can’t stand the sight of me. He’s always glaring at me, and if he has to speak to me, it’s short and curt and all snappy. The grouch.

Wyatt
I want her, but I don’t want to want her. And I don’t just want her, I need her. And I don’t want to need her. Lexi’s not the kind you fuck and forget. She’s the kind you build forever with. And I am not the forever kind of guy. It nearly takes me too long to realize what everyone else seems to have known all along. Despite my own demons, despite the ghosts from her past...Lexi is mine.

Review:
Another wonderfully told story that will keep you intrigued until the end. We are back in our favorite little town, this time with another hunky broody brother. Wyatt just doesn't know how to show his feelings, or really communicate but isn't that most men? Lexi has her own pocket full of issues, but she doesn't allow that to keep her from exploring her future dreams. These two together will give you a lot of sigh moments but then hearts in the eyes, they make actually get it all together.

Not long out of college, Mackenzie Reeves has found herself halfway across the country, relocated from Atlanta, Georgia, to small-town Hamilton, Montana. But it’s not just a fresh start—it’s an escape. For years, she’s been trying to steer clear of the abusive stepfather who’s made her life hell and turned her mother into someone she doesn’t recognize. Now, on Dirk and Merit Littlewood’s gorgeous farm, she’s found a bit of peace. Until a certain dimpled, dark-eyed handsome devil walks into her barn and changes her life with a single look.

Not quite twenty-four, and champion bull rider Bradly Littlewood already feels twice his age. He loves the sport, but between the politics, the lonely nights, missing his family…his heart and head are no longer in the game. And when he’s home for the holidays, surrounded by cousins who’ve married and started their own families, he can add jealousy to the mix. He’s missed so much, and he wants what they have. Turns out, one unplanned stop at the family barn and he may have found it…in the form of a pajama-clad angel, singing and dancing for a captive audience of farm animals.

Mackenzie and Bradly’s instant smolder in the barn becomes a blazing wildfire within days, surprising everyone. Both their futures are uncertain for very different reasons. But their love? That’s rock solid. Beyond a doubt.

A love so strong, so unbreakable, even forever isn’t enough.

The author suggests you read the books in order for a better reading experience.

Review:
This story will pull at your heart. Mackenzie's past is tragic and she was able to escape. However within her escape, she has isolated herself. She allows friendships but likes her alone time. She is keeping herself hidden from her past. Enter Bradley, the adorable bull rider and all her walls are torn down. He is usually not a relationship guy but one look at this angel with a goat in her lap and he's smitten. His sister giving him crap about all the good stuff will make you laugh. Their family is so warm hearted. It's a good story that will capture you for a few hours.

Release with Review:: Foster by Sawyer Bennett

New Release from Sawyer Bennett Foster (Pittsburgh Titans, Book #13)

Synopsis:

When Foster McInnis ’ ex - wife flakes and he finds himself with full custody of his daughter, the nanny he hires brings a new complication — an attraction he can ’ t ignore, no matter how hard he tries.< /strong> I love being on the ice and am grateful for my hockey career, but the off season is my favorite time of the year because it brings me my one true love — my daughter, Bowie Jane. Between my job and my ex - wife living across the country, the time I ge t to spend face - to - face with my kiddo is limited, though we make up for it with summers full of fun adventures. We ’ re thick as thieves and take full advantage of our time together, but the distance away from her is killing me. My fortunes change when my e x walks away and I find myself with full custody. But with the hockey season looming, I know I ’ m going to need help taking care of Bowie Jane. Enter Mary Elizabeth Archer — otherwise known as Mazzy. Highly recommended to me through the Titans ’ network, Mazzy crashes into our life like a hurricane. She ’ s unlike anyone I ’ ve ever met and to say I ’ m intrigued is an understatement. But no matter how attractive she is, no matter how I crave to know everything about her, I can ’ t go there. It ’ s inappropriate. Just wr ong, wrong, wrong, even though she might be the most right thing I ’ ve ever known. Being the indescribable force she is, there is soon no corner of our lives that Mazzy hasn ’ t impacted in a positive way. And my desire for more with her becomes far stronger than my misguided idea that I could ever resist this woman. Our attraction burns hot and keeping our eyes, hands and mouths off one another gets harder by the minute. It doesn ’ t take long for me to know that I ’ m all in with Mazzy. She ’ s my end game and, lucky for me, winning is my specialty.

Review:
This story has all the feels. The best thing I liked about their story is that Foster didn't try to hide his feelings for Mazzy or hide them from the team. He knew it could be complicated but he wanted to explore them. These two were incredible together, they worked together to take care of Bowie Jane, as they were made for each other. The ex wife, well I wanted to strangle her, she was crap for a person. The whole story I just wanted to hug Bowie Jane (who I shorted in my head to BJ) and was thankful she was hanging out with Mazzy for some kind of adult role model other than her dad. This story as always did not disappoint and we got to catch up with many of the past and also met new players.

Mason Shaw.

He’s exactly what I want and need in a man. He’s also off-limits as the father of one of my students.

I didn’t expect to be wildly attracted to him the moment he walked into my classroom.

Nor was I even looking for this type of… connection.

I’m only supposed to share my mind and knowledge as his son’s teacher. Not my body as his lover.

I’m a professional. Surely I can resist his perfect, blue eyes, work-calloused hands, and that deep timbre in his voice.

Having a temporary tryst with a single father is one thing.

Falling in love with him is another thing entirely.

Especially when I know for certain I can’t give him what he wants, or needs, in life

I want to be his.
I want to explore this.

I just don’t know if he’ll want me when he finds out how broken I truly am.

Catalyst is a single father/elementary school teacher small town romance.
It’s book 1 of the Meadow Lake Series but can be read as a complete standalone.

I kept my nose clean. Bad publicity was the last thing you wanted, and I’d had my share since my last breakup went public. We’d also just lost our last five games.

The boys and I decided to head to the islands for a little R&R. I’d never been so happy for a break. That was where I saw her. She didn’t seem to recognize me, which made it better, so I made my move. We didn’t exchange names or numbers. We shared one carefree night, that was all I wanted and that was all it was supposed to be.

A few months later, regret from that night had almost eaten away at me. I hadn’t been able to get her out of my mind. I wouldn’t say I fell in love with her, or maybe I did. All I knew was that night was the closest I’d ever come to insta-love and I wanted more but we’d had our fun. Yet, I was still mentally kicking myself for at least not getting her name.

We're about to head into the playoffs when I return home and that is when the universe decides to bring us back together in one of the worst places ever. Only this time won’t be like the last, I decide I won’t let her slip through my fingers. This time, I’ve promised myself nothing, and all bets are off.

Review:
Aurora and Dylan's story is a cute one night stand that they both thought was the end of them. They both lingered on their night for months. They both regretted not getting names and numbers. Their faces when they are introduced to each other again months later. They have a lot to work through and family always seems to get in the way. It was a good start to this series.

Release with Review:: Wanting You by Samantha Chase

Wanting You by Samantha Chase is now live!

A Small Town, Rivals to Lovers, Workplace Romance by New York Times Bestselling Author, Samantha Chase

She’s the quiet, small town girl who gets along with everyone. Except him.

He’s the new guy in town who’s determined to turn her world upside down.

All Chloe Donovan ever wanted was to teach kindergarten and live a simple life in Sweetbriar Ridge. Until she decides she wants more in her life. Like maybe a good man to share her quiet life. But when she meets Tanner Westyn, Sweetbriar Ridge’s biggest ego-maniac and newest kindergarten teacher, she can’t help but feel unsettled with all the new changes happening around her town. Especially the unexpected feelings Tanner sparks in her.

A former champion Alpine skier, Tanner loves to compete–in all aspects of his life. But with his skiing career behind him, he’s ready to tackle the next phase of his life–teaching. When he lands in Sweetbriar Ridge, a town with a brand-new ski resort, he looks forward to quiet days on the slopes. The one thing he didn’t anticipate is how much his competitive nature would rub his new neighbors and colleagues–especially Chloe–the wrong way. What started as a schoolroom challenge with Chloe quickly snowballed into something else outside the school walls.

Everything about Tanner annoyed, frustrated, and intrigued Chloe. But when their heated banter evolves into looks of longing and a connection that can’t be denied, she starts to question if they could even have a future together. But if Tanner doesn’t want to lose Chloe, he will have to accept that coming in second place means more when the person you love takes the win.

Review:

This story was interesting with Chloe. She isn't my favorite Donovan but she seems to put a lot on her shoulders. She always has felt like she needs to fit this cute little box but she just needs to be herself. Tanner steps in and brings out all her insecurities and we see the real Chloe. Not the people pleaser, not the perfect teacher, but an emotional woman. Tanner is annoying but just what Chloe needs. Their banter and chemistry all work and it was a cute story.
