This one was a totally different ball game. Ramsey has been told what to do and how to do it all her life until she gets to that breaking point and just can't anymore. Deacon is a workaholic who is determined to be the best he can be until he has his family. When these two meet, fireworks go off. The chemistry is just undeniable and cannot be fought. Ramsey tries and she just can't stay away from him. Deacon got major points for how patient and protective he is of Ramsey right away. He understands she has been hurt and needs to be taken care of. It is a special story and I am so happy I could join them on their journey.

I really enjoyed this sweet story. I have loved every one of these books and they just seem to get better as the series goes on. These two have chemistry and I loved every word. Cannot wait until we get more.

AHHH this family! They just get better as the series goes on. Luke is just as good or maybe better than the previous men in this series. These two are hot together and when Luke declares that Megan is 'his' well my heart just popped out. It was one that was hard to put down for real life just as always with Layla's stories.

Review:

This story will tug at the heart a little bit. Macon is dealing with a grief that many of will never feel. Julie has taken a brave a step and left her abusive boyfriend so that her child can have a better life. When Julie joins Macon's company they meet and both feel it. Although Macon has a really hard time dealing with these new feelings, the author portrays them so beautifully, making the heart squeeze tight. It was a wonderful story that kept me until the very end.
