Review:

Jack and Kate's story is such a good read. These two have a lot of issues at the beginning and pretty much through the entire foundation of their personal and professional relationship. They meet and have a one night stand. She never expects to see him again. Who knew Jack would be so hot and cold, so deep yet shallow. He is suck between a rock and hard place with his personal life and football career. He feels a calmness with Kate, like its all off his shoulders, but yet he cannot escape the life he has put himself on course to lead.

When compromising pictures of me with the pro football quarterback I’m behavior coaching hit the press, we need damage control. I’m probably going to lose my job since his fiancée’s father—the man who hired me—discovered the pictures as I woke to a cloudy memory of the night before.

My questions surrounding Jack’s relationship with his future bride grow more pressing by the day…especially when his eyes tackle me with all that heat. As he saves my job and I continue to coach him toward better decisions, I find myself falling for him. Maybe my purpose here is to open
his eyes to all his options.

Review:

Jack and Kate are back and living life together. Kate is officially on board as his 'assistant'--behavior coach and is slowly becoming one of his inner circle. She is included in a small trips and events. She is not given much notice for these agenda items but she is doing well trying to keep up with Jake Dalton. I enjoyed watching Jake and his friend interact, he was open and funny. Personal details are starting to be known and eventually a little bit of that shell around his heart will be opened. As soon as Kate believes they are making any kind of progress he is quick to close that hole back up. He can be sweet but then again how long will it last? This book had all the emotions and I cannot wait to see how it continues with next book.
