Release with Review:: Stumbling into Love by Aurora Rose Reynolds

Wesley and Mackenzie was a really sweet story. A story of a couple that might not have been. Had her date showed up, had she not been in that particular bar, and had he not decided to come in. All these if's. Yet here they are. One night. One magical night that Wesley wanted to become a great morning. Mackenzie leaves. She can't do it.

Wesley just wants Mackenzie to stop running. He wants her to face the connection. Luckily for him she just happens to be sisters to a woman that he sees often. The connection and the funny mishaps will keep you reading. It was a nice story of finding love and trying to keep it.

From a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author comes an unexpected romance about trying to resist the irresistible…
Mackenzie Reed has officially been stood up. Not only has she wasted two years on Mr. So Not Interested but now she doesn’t even have pizza and the Mets to keep her company. Then he walks into her life—more than six feet of rugged, hot stranger. Maybe, just for tonight, Mac can pretend to be a girl she’s not. After all, she deserves a little no-strings fun…
As far as Wesley Porter is concerned, one night with Mackenzie isn’t nearly enough. She’s a mystery he wants to solve—if he can keep her from running for the door every time they touch. There’s obviously some serious chemistry between them, so why is she fighting it?
As one sexy hookup turns into another (and another), Wesley is determined to prove they were made for each other. But Mac has been hurt before, and she refuses to fall for this sexy, ridiculously perfect guy. In fact, she has every intention of fighting it…unless he can convince her otherwise.

Review:
This one got me. Sobbing. Sobbing so much. Tears just ran down my face. C.A. of course does a wonderful job convening the feelings of all characters. I didn't want the bad to happen. I held my breathe as they were going through the terrible times. I have never felt so much as I did with this book. This is truly an epic story.

Excerpt

I buried my body beneath the covers and curled around his warmth. With my head rested just where he’d wanted it, I closed my eyes tight and willed the tears away. Doing my best to hide the emptiness consuming me, I concentrated on breathing evenly.

“Always loved you right like this,” he confessed. “Your body so close to mine it feels like we’re the same person.”

I took deep breaths as I thought of all the reasons life was so damn unfair.

“Loved burying my face in your hair, just breathing you in.”

Those were the words most girls dreamed of hearing, and they made our love feel more solid and concrete. But hearing them now was like a slow form of torture, because they were tearing the small amount of control I had left in me to pieces.

“You were made just for me, Sawyer Cooper,” he whispered sleepily. “I truly believe that.”

I squeeze my eyes shut tighter as I curled into him closer.

“Forever my girl.”

Tears rolled along my cheeks as I did all I could to wipe them away before he noticed. I was thankful sleep had taken him over and he was oblivious to the shattering of my soul.

Release with Review:: Forever (Destroyed by Love, #1) by Abrianna Denae

Title: Forever
Series: Destroyed by Love, Book One
Author: Abrianna Denae
Genre: Mature YA/NA Romance
Published: February 2, 2017
She's hiding from the girl she once was.
He's just trying to get through another day.
Marley Fallon doesn't believe in attachments, not after her world was destroyed by those she trusted the most. She's put on a new face and is ready to bury the past. Nothing good can come from remembering the pain.
What she doesn't count on is Wyatt Hensley. The silent stranger manages to get under her skin in ways she can't explain.
Wyatt doesn't want anything to do with the mysterious new girl. He has bigger issues to worry about.
However, you can't fight what's right in front of you.
Wyatt and Marley find themselves sharing their deepest, darkest secrets. It's not long until they're immersed in the other's life and heart.
But as soon as they find each other, they also find that forever isn't as long as they think.

When Wyatt said he wanted to be friends I didn’t know that meant he would actually acknowledge my presence. In class, he made it a point to talk to me and said he’d meet me for lunch.
Now I’m standing at the end of the line in the cafeteria, not sure what to do. Kala walks in front of me, heading toward a table full of people I hate. Do I walk toward the unknown? Do I sit with a boy who never even looks up during lunch? Or do I sit with people who are familiar to me? Their faces and names are different, but their attitudes are the same ones that I grew up around. They’re comfortable to me, and that’s why I hate them. If I’m going to survive, then I have to make wise choices, but I suppose that one unwise choice won’t kill me.
So when Kala drops down in her usual seat I don’t follow. Instead I keep walking toward the boy who could destroy me with one glance.
“Took you long enough,” he says.
Wyatt doesn’t look up from his hands. I place my tray on the table and sit across from him. He doesn’t have any food, he never does. “I’m not going to hurt you.”
“How do you know?” He lifts his gaze to mine, it’s intense, and it unnerves me.
The feelings that Wyatt stirs inside of me leave me confused and intrigued. I want to explore these feelings, but you can’t build a relationship on lies. Been there done that.
“Because I don’t plan to. I promise I won’t hurt you, Marley. I don’t break my promises.”
“I don’t believe in promises, they’re just empty words. I don’t know you. You could be saying this today, and something else tomorrow.”
“How many people do you think know about my sisters?” He leans forward and lowers his voice. I become aware of the stares and the whispers. “You know who they are. Granted it was only a matter of time, but still. I didn’t know how to handle it. But you did.”
“You confuse me.”
“I could say the same about you.”
“Are we ever going to have an actual conversation?”
He raises an eyebrow, his clear gaze burning into me. I want to turn away, but can’t. “You tell me.”
Review:
First of, I am thankful I had easier teenage years. These two got dealt a wrong deal. They each have demons they are fighting. Wyatt is an old soul, thankfully with the responsibilities he has for a 17 year old. Marley had to learn the hard way that not everything is as it seems. Both find each other when they least suspect it, they both gain a friend when they need it, and they both find out what it means to care for someone. After years of feeling like they were just floating in limbo, they get this olive branch. Abrianna does a great job of expressing the feelings of both teenagers, of having them act and think like teenagers, and of not allowing them to run the world as adults but continually bringing up that they are learning.

Mariana Costa’s life is good. She has fantastic friends, is close to her family, and works a dream job at the internationally-renowned fashion magazine, Be. There is only one problem … she’s madly in love with the one man who is not only out of her league, but is completely unattainable: her boss.

But touching her is the one thing he can’t seem to resist.
Outside the office, Cadu and Mari explore tenderness and passion. But they are from completely different worlds, and when those worlds collide and threaten to destroy not only their fragile bond but the very magazine they work for, they must decide whether falling in love is worth risking it all.

Review:
This was such a romantic story. I swooned, I sighed, I oohed and ahhhed. AC wrote a beautifully told love story. Cuda and Mari work together, for a few years they have been only professional, one look and that all goes out the door. I loved reading this. We get a little bit of everything, family drama, rich man, poor girl, a man that knows what he wants, and a woman who has a backbone.
