It didn't matter how young we were.
We just knew.
Forever was stamped on our hearts, no matter what forces tried to keep us apart.
They tried, and they failed.
We were happy.
We lived, we loved, and we made plans.
But as the years went by, we watched helplessly as those plans faded into dusty aspirations.
Yet we endured.
Time and time again, we came out stronger.
Until life threw the ultimate test our way, and he surrendered.
Defeated and desperate, he made a choice.
One that tore all our promises in two—leaving me pregnant, alone, and terrified.
Now he's free, and that love is still there.
It's everything else that's changed.
Trigger warning: this book contains some sensitive subject matter.

Kitty Kats Crazy About Books - “This book was one of my most highly anticipated books that I wanted to get my grabby little hands on and Ella Fields did not disappoint, second chance romances are my kryptonite, done right they are my biggest weakness and Ella did this perfectly, the angst, heart break, forgiveness swept me up in the pages of the highs and lows of Maggie's and Felix's love from their break up to their make up.”

Chatterbooks Book Blog - “If you’re looking a second chance romance that will leave you with all of the feels, then this is the book for you.”

Bad And Dirty Books - “Ella Fields has delivered yet another spectacular book with Corrode.”

Review:
I really don't know if I can put into words all that was felt while reading this. Ella did nothing but make my heart race and my emotions run wild. The story itself was  a good plot and told beautifully.

Maggie meets Felix at a party and soon their lives are so intertwined that they don't know where one begins and the other ends. They take care of one another, they love one another, they grow up together. She becomes part of the family, moving in, and taking care of the house.

Life is hard, so hard for them but they always find the good in it. That is until something happens that Felix doesn't know how to handle and Maggie announces she's pregnant.

Then old habits seem to show up again, old friends return, and Maggie is confused about their future. The soul searching in this story is what will get you. The fact that this young woman was lost and didn't know if she was going the best. She wanted to do her best but when she and Felix are face to face again she just isn't sure.

Warren and Jake will grab your hearts and give a little comic relief to this heavy hearted tale. They will be the back bone to Maggie becoming stronger when she is weak. They will say to Felix what you want to say. They keep everything in the right alignment.

Ella did such a good job keeping the story flowing that was I was really mad when my kindle went down to 5% and needed to be charged at midnight.
