Blurb:

Love can be as sweet as honey, or it can sting like a bee.

Bo Smith knows that if you go looking for honey, you get stung, so he has his life just how he wants it. No hassles, no complications, and no heartache. As the handsome high school athletics coach, he would be the pick of the small town he grew up in...if he was into commitment, or dating...or even calling back. But he has sworn off anything resembling a future and his mind isn't going to change.

Then his eyes lock on the new girl in town...She’s beautiful, intelligent, and full of surprises. Just the kind of complication he has been avoiding.

Sophia Brown is looking for the sweet simple life. She has it all planned out. Getting used to life alone isn't easy, but she has her garden, her bees, and her dog Triton to tend to. It's the fresh start she's been dreaming of, surrounded by nothing but open fields to stare at all day.

Nothing at all...unless you count the high school football team and their distractingly handsome coach, practicing right across the street.

But when sparks fly, Bo must choose between the sting of his past or the sweetness of the future.

He may just find that honey tastes good on everything.

Review:
Bo and Sophia got to my heart. I don't even know how to do it justice with a review. I don't think I can simply with words tell you how much I loved this book. I took this book on with only reading the blurb. I had never heard of Heather, but let me tell you now she is on my radar. Girl can write.

So we have Sophia moving into a small town that her mother had lived in at one time. She is trying to begin a life on her own. What she didn't expect was to have a tall dark handsome football coach to watch every day out her front yard.

Bo was something else, he was soft and hard at once, he was caring and gentle while having a wall around his heart. He at times didn't have a clue what he wanted, he kept fighting against this beautiful woman to save his pride and what his head kept telling him was the right way.

Bo ends up needing a little time to grow up. He wants her time but he doesn't want her heart. He doesnt realize that her heart was just waiting for his to catch up. He was stubborn. He was full of excuses. I was happy to see a strong female lead in Sophia, she let him have his space, she worked on her business, and she kept living. She allowed Bo to see what he was missing.

This plays out wonderfully, there is normal life drama, nothing over the time that has you rolling your eyes. The chemistry between these two is great, easy flow, you find yourself fighting for them. Can't wait to read more from Heather.
