Read:: Jonquils for Jax by Katy Regnery

What moved me about this book is that everyone assumes that Jax is this uppity girl when all she wants is to be on her own and doing her own stuff. She doesn’t want to glam or the attention. She really loves her mother’s house and throughout the entire book tries to find a way to buy it from her mother.
She meets the English’s new gardener which is named Gardener on the evening of her brother’s wedding. Gardener is doing through his own issues, adjusting to civilian life since being injured in the line of duty. He can see a tiny itty bit but not enough to do much in society, at least this is his way of thinking.
Meeting Jax has him wanting something he hasn’t for awhile. To live. To do something. To even go out. These two have to prove to themselves that they are worthy before it can come to them. I think Gardener does this ten folds over. He finds a way to prove to Jax that he is all in since he is not good with his words. These two were very cute together and I was happy for the two of them to get over the non complicated issues they seemed to allow to come between them.

Did you fall in love with The English Brothers? Were you hot for the Winslows? Katy Regnery's New York Times bestselling Blueberry Lane series continues with The Rousseau siblings in Summer 2016!

Jacqueline “Jax” Rousseau is vivacious, rich, smart and beautiful…but that doesn’t mean she’s lucky in love: she’s dated doctors, lawyers, actors and politicians who’ve all managed to end up disappointing her. In fact, she’s on a self-imposed hiatus from love when she has an unpleasant run-in with her neighbor’s gorgeous new landscaper, Gardener Thibodeaux. Jax is not accustomed to gruff, ill-mannered men that can’t be charmed, but when he saves her skin, she realizes that something about Gard intrigues her...and if she can find her way through the armor that surrounds his heart, she might finally find a love that won’t let her down.
