These two! Man, Helena is just wow! Since the first book, I have been hooked. Alex's book is still my favorite even though each book is great.
Hockey, Hot Men, a woman with NO filter, and the chemistry. Alex and Violet meet after a hockey game, her step brother is a new member of Alex's team. In the first book, you get the nitty, gritty details of how Alex and Vi became Alex and Vi, and its heart wrecking at one point and you don;t know if Mrs. Hunting is going to give you that happy ending.
Forever Pucked is the wedding we have all been waiting for, well us PUCKED fans anyways, its a big deal. Poor Violet is breaking out in hives, keeping her fears to herself, and putting up with two pushing moms. Alex is hockey.
In this one, we have the whole gang back together, preparing for Violet's not dream of a wedding and if it can go wrong it does. If it can come up and get in the way, its does.
Alex has an accident and it pushes them apart and pulls them together, and by the end I was just waiting for the I Do's. I wanted to see what would be said and how the vows would go. I'm not a big on the weddings, honestly, I usually skip through them and move on, but this one, I read every word. These two are a written couple that could actually be out there because the author wrote them realistically and not too far gone that it would never happen. Love Hockey. Love this family of Hockey players. Love Helena.
Now I am keeping my fingers crossed she has something up her sleeve for Lance and we get his story.
Being engaged to Alex Waters, team captain and the highest paid NHL player in the league, is awesome. How could it not be?
In addition to being an amazing hockey player, he’s an incurable romantic with an XL heart, and an XXL hockey stick in his pants. And he knows how to use it. Incredibly, orgasmically well. Alex is the whole package and more. Literally. Like his package is insane. Total world record holder material.
So it makes complete sense that Violet Hall can’t wait to nail him down to the matrimonial mattress and become Mrs. Violet Waters.
It’s so romantic.
Violet is totally stoked to set a date.
Eventually. At some point. Likely before the next millennium. Or when Violet stops getting hives every time someone brings up the wedding, and their mothers stop colluding on stadium sized venues. Whichever comes first.
