Read:: Sweet Soul (Sweet Home Series) By Tillie Cole

I love Tillie Cole. Her writing style, the brothers, the story lines all just make my heart pump. I will admit though I had only read Sweet Fall because of it being free or only .99 at one time. The description got me. Lexi and Austin's story was beautiful so when I began seeing so much hype for Sweet Soul. But I hadnt read the rest of the series, so I got the rest of them and read through the entire series, re reading Lexi and Austin's story. I thought their story was heart breaking but reading about Levi and Elsie had me tearing up.

Levi was put through a lot when he was very young and as a teenager pressured into doing things his little heart couldnt handle. I couldnt imagine having family choose a lifestyle that you have no choice in the matter but know that it isnt for you. His heart is so big but he doesnt know how to let it out, scared that if he does that the person will fade away like his momma.

Elsie is homeless stealing and begging for food. This girl has a mother that did her no service yet she loves and tries to protect even though shes gone. She is lucky that she and Levi cross paths when they do because she is sick and near dangerous events.

These two grabbed my heart and took it on a ride for 442 pages.

From the USA Today bestselling Sweet Home Series, comes Sweet Soul, a heart-wrenching story of love in its purest form. One shy lost soul. One silent lonely heart. One love to save them both. Life has never been easy for twenty-year-old Levi Carillo. The youngest of the Carillo boys, Levi is nothing like his older brothers. He isn’t dark in looks or intimidating to everyone he meets. In fact, he’s quite the opposite. Haunted by a crippling shyness and the tragic events of his past, Levi spends his days with his head buried in his books, or training hard for his college football team. Too timid to talk to girls, Levi stays as far away as possible and completely on his own… until he saves the life of a troubled pretty blonde, a troubled pretty blonde that might just be the exception to his rule. Elsie Hall is homeless. Or at least that’s all anyone ever sees. Every day is a fight for survival on the cold streets of Seattle, everyday a struggle to find food and keep warm. Alone in life—a life that’s dangerous and cruel—her will to keep going is an ever-losing battle. In her world of silence, Elsie has given up hope that her life will contain anything but constant heartache and pain… until the beautiful boy she has severely wronged comes to her rescue at precisely the right time.
