Have you read anything by Tess Oliver??? If you haven't you are missing out, I have read most if not all of her books and they keep getting better. Her stories grab you and suck you in until you get to the end. Her series The Stone Brothers had me feeling like I know them and this series is heating up with the same thing. And of course, it has the sports tie in, so yes!
