Review: 

What happens when your heart belongs to two men? Alexandra could answer that for you, you run away, you get out of town, you ignore any chance of any feelings developing. Ryans, as she is called by Oliver, the youngest prince, thought her heart should belong to the oldest prince. She needed someone who was stable, who would challenge her to be better, and push her. She spent most of her childhood with Oliver, two peas in a pod. Who knew teenage years would complicate so much?

I love the dynamic that is brought to us. We have a woman scared to face the men of her heart. A man in line for the throne that is trying to do everything the right way. A jester. We are shared in the events that took place 5 years prior while living in the present. We get to know the little details that created this triangle of emotions. We get to see the easy flow that Alexandra and Oliver have between them, we see the relationship between the brothers, and how fiercely they love each other and Alexandra. 

It was a really good read. The banter between the brothers and them picking on Alexandra for being American kept the story flowing. When Alexandra finally surrenders her heart and lets go of the past it was a nice coming together for them.

Tiffany Truitt was born in Peoria, Illinois. A self-proclaimed Navy brat, Tiffany spent most of her childhood living in Virginia, but don’t call her a Southerner. She also spent a few years living in Cuba. Since her time on the island of one McDonalds and Banana Rats (don't ask), she has been obsessed with traveling. Tiffany recently added China to her list of travels (hello inspiration for a new book).

Besides traveling, Tiffany has always been an avid reader. The earliest books she remembers reading belong to The Little House on the Prairie Series. First book she read in one day? Little Woman (5th grade). First author she fell in love with? Jane Austen in middle school. Tiffany spent most of her high school and college career as a literary snob. She refused to read anything considered "low brow" or outside the "classics."

Tiffany began teaching middle school in 2006. Her students introduced her to the wide, wonderful world of Young Adult literature. Today, Tiffany embraces popular Young Adult literature and uses it in her classroom. She currently teaches the following novels: The Outsiders, Speak, Night, Dystopian Literature Circles: The Hunger Games, The Giver, The Uglies, and Matched.

Review:

We are looking through Emmeline's eyes in this story. We are taken through her thoughts and feelings. We are hopeful for a bright future. It would seem that the baby is wanted. If only by her and her boyfriend, this baby is wanted. When tragedy strikes, Emme moves forward, doing the best she can for herself and her daughter. Their relationship will have you melting. Emme puts her daughter first, building a life that her daughter would be proud of. I loved her support system. The relationship kept with her friends from high school are with her through many ups and downs. 

You will feel a range of emotions and by the end you will thankful that Emme has figured out life. She has found a love like no other kind. Her daughter is well taken care of. She is able to mend fences and move forward.

Lavinia Leigh has been in love with stories her whole life. As a child, she used to read well past her bedtime with her foot on the light switch, primed to turn it off quickly at the slightest hint of being caught. As an adult, she has carried that love of stories with her until the day she started to write herself. 

Outside of writing, she is a serial volunteer, and loves being involved in her community, from helping to build a giant waterslide down the middle of her town’s main street, to running a day camp, and working on a committee that honors volunteerism. She has also won a cooking show on Food Network. 

Lavinia Leigh has a super supportive family who lets her go ahead with whatever hair-brained idea she comes up with and helps her along the way.

Read:: I'm In It by Tammy Falkner

So I have been with Tammy since I fell in love with Tall, Tatted and Tempted published in 2013...It was free and still is free and the cover grabbed my attention..next thing I know here we are on book 18 of the series, she has grabbed us with each one. 

She left us with the last book a while ago but when you are a fan, you are patient, you understand a book isnt written in a day and that the author needs to be in a good place to publish a work of art. So I waited. It was worth it. 

We are brought back to Wren, who has just gone through a tradgey no woman wishes on another. She has to find herself again. She has to process what happened and put herself back to a good spot. It's hard, its a challenge and Wren basically ignores that she isnt in a good place until she almost loses someone special because of it. 

Mick fell in love with Wren at first sight, he's grieved without her, and he has processed his own loss. He's decided he cant let her be alone any longer. Through meddling parents, best friends, and family they are placed in the middle of a cross country trip with 4 cousins. Mick just wants to take care of others. He wants good for all. He wants a woman that will love him back. 

These two definitely have to work for a good relationship, they are confused and want whats right but just don't know how to get there. Mick wants Wren to come to him, Wren needs him to come to her, push her. They work well together when they aren't thinking about the coulda, woulda, shoulda stuff and are just together. 

This was a great ending to a beautiful family. I am going to miss them. I re read them all the time, Pete's story being my favorite. Read, love, laugh!

Yay for Cora giving us the kids stories. These 3 brothers had it hard, but met beautiful women and overcame their horrible past. They each, along with their cousins have grown and now have children. In this first story of the Gentry Generations, we meet Camille and Dalton. Camille who is Cassie's twin belongs to Cord and Saylor. We are introduced to a lot of the teenagers that are now roaming AZ with the Gentry namesake. 

Dalton is running a popular night club that is attached to the spa that Camille gets a job for the summer. Their meeting is funny and light and they easily make conversation. They keep bumping into each other until Dalton persuades her to come to the club.  They begin a light fun relationship that is hot in the bedroom. 

The relationship Camille has with her family is solid, we get to see big broody protective Cord. Cora really emphasizes how close this family is between the brothers, cousins and the next generation. A family event holds a lot of people because they are there for one another. They let Dalton in, they make him family, and they show him how they take care of one another. 

There is a little mystery to Dalton's night club and some growing up that needs to be done by the twenty nine year old. Even though Camille is in college, you sense that she wise beyond her years and ready for this relationship. We get a little of Cassie's background and it prepares us to get ready for the next book.

Review:

Myla Rose and Cash are swoony. These two are both coming off horrible break ups. These two are swearing off the other gender. Myla Rose doesn't need a man to take care of this baby and Cash doesn't need a woman to be complete. When she has her confrontation with her baby daddy, she cracked me up with her confidence "If there's one thing my Grams has taught me, it's that from sh$t, flowers grow. So, ya'll can sit back and watch me f###ing blossom" She doesn't care that they look down on her, she needs to do what is best for this baby.

However upon meeting, they both cannot stop thinking of the other.

With mutual friends, they end up at a few different places at the same time. The chemistry grows until its combustible. I loved that Cash had a need to take care of her, but I also loved that Myla Rose didn't want it or feel like she needed it.

The author did a fabulous job getting us to the relationship, it wasn't hurried, it wasn't insta, and it certainly wasn't easy. Cash immediately though has a need to take care of her. He keeps questioning himself, why does he feel like he needs to be there to take care of simple chores that she can obviously handle? He just feels like he does. He wants to complete projects and help her with tasks. He wants to be her partner.

The writing was excellent, the story grabbed me and kept me until I was complete. I went from a dead kindle to a dead phone back to my kindle until I was finished. I wanted to know if they made it, would Cash let his heartache get in the way of what he was feeling.

She grasps my hand, and like an instant replay from dinner, her body slides down mine. The contact is somehow more intimate than it was earlier, making her cheeks turn a pretty shade of pink, only noticeable due to the moonlight peeking between the branches of the oak tree in her yard. 

"Okay, Cash." Her voice is nothing more than a rasp. 

We make it to the porch, and the inner battle begins. Is she expecting a kiss, or will she slap me for trying, what with how our last kiss ended? I war with myself a little longer before settling on a hug. A nice, safe hug.

"Well, goodnight then," she whispers, looking down as I start to pull away. 

Is that disappointment I hear in her voice? Well, hell. I can’t have that. 

Keeping my right arm around her waist, I bring my left hand to her cheek, placing my thumb just below her jaw. Using that position, I pull her closer to me. 

"It was a good night indeed, Myla Rose," I murmur just before I press my lips to hers. 

Her lips are soft, so damn soft, even more so than I remember. I nip at her bottom lip, causing her lips to part. I use that small opening to deepen the kiss, and Myla Rose digs her nails into the base of my neck. 

Slipping my hand from her waist and down over the curve of her hip, I hike her dress up and settle it on the smooth bare skin just under her ass, pulling her closer—closer—closer. Trailing my fingertips across her cheek and through her hair, I tug on it just a little, just like I’d imagined doing at the start of our night. 

Damn, she likes that. It's like I flipped a switch. She's no longer kissing me—she’s devouring me. 

I hoist her up, and she wraps her legs around my waist. The front door is the only thing keeping us upright. I press my hips into hers, showing her just how much I want her before pulling her hair again. She throws her head back, hitting it on the door with a loud thump. 

That breaks the spell. She lowers her legs and untangles herself from me, and I step back, unsure of what comes next. Is she going to ask me in or send me on my way? 

"Do . . . do you want to come in?" She looks up at me expectantly. 

"Lead the way, darlin'," I rasp out—because really, is there any other response?
