Review:

I am not always sold on already married couples that spend the entire story trying to work it out. This one almost hit the par. I loved Keller, he was grumpy for a very good reason, he was a husband without a wife. We got to see all of his emotions and follow him through a journey. I didn't see eye to eye with Chloe. I just couldn't connect with her reasonings and wants. I loved that they were able to reconnect. 

TEAGAN HUNTER is a Missouri-raised gal but currently lives in South Carolina with her Marine veteran husband, where she spends her days begging him for a cat. She survives off coffee, pizza, and sarcasm. When she's not writing, you can find her binge-watching various TV shows, especially Supernatural and One Tree Hill. She enjoys cold weather, buys more paperbacks than she'll ever read, and never says no to brownies.

Review:

This story had a lot of potential but just didn't hit it for me. I liked the concept and the thinking of what it could have been. It just didn't click. Mal is older, hiding after a long tour to a private island. Saylor is running from her ex and his mess. It felt forced at times, like she really needed time on her own and as soon as she is single bam here is this guy sniffy around. It might be someone's favorite and I wish I could have connected with the characters more.
