Release with Review:: Traded and Tackled by Lisa Suzanne

 Traded Release Date: September 9

Get ready for another season with the Vegas Aces featuring Jack Dalton in a new series coming this fall!

The first time I met pro football’s hottest quarterback, we ended up horizontal just before the most embarrassing moment of my life.

The second time, I unleashed all my pent-up anger on him.

The third time was when the owner of the Vegas Aces introduced him as the newly traded player I’d be coaching for the next year. No…I’m not a football coach. I’ve been hired as his full-time behavior coach.

Now I have to live with my one-night stand, his fiancée, and their newborn while I attempt to help him make better decisions. On my first day, I’m already having moral dilemmas as I watch him chug orange Gatorade in the kitchen wearing nothing more than a towel. If I truly guide him to better choices, I might just find myself out of a job.

And this is one job I can’t afford to lose.

TRADED is the first book in the VEGAS ACES: THE QUARTERBACK series. This series must be read in order.

Review:
Jack and Kate's story is such a good read. These two have a lot of issues at the beginning and pretty much through the entire foundation of their personal and professional relationship. They meet and have a one night stand. She never expects to see him again. Who knew Jack would be so hot and cold, so deep yet shallow. He is suck between a rock and hard place with his personal life and football career. He feels a calmness with Kate, like its all off his shoulders, but yet he cannot escape the life he has put himself on course to lead.

Tackled releases September 9

When compromising pictures of me with the pro football quarterback I’m behavior coaching hit the press, we need damage control. I’m probably going to lose my job since his fiancée’s father—the man who hired me—discovered the pictures as I woke to a cloudy memory of the night before.

My questions surrounding Jack’s relationship with his future bride grow more pressing by the day…especially when his eyes tackle me with all that heat. As he saves my job and I continue to coach him toward better decisions, I find myself falling for him. Maybe my purpose here is to open
his eyes to all his options.

But if he leaves his new boss’s daughter, the consequences could mean the end of both our careers.

TACKLED is the second book in the VEGAS ACES: THE QUARTERBACK series. This series must be read in order.

Review:
Jack and Kate are back and living life together. Kate is officially on board as his 'assistant'--behavior coach and is slowly becoming one of his inner circle. She is included in a small trips and events. She is not given much notice for these agenda items but she is doing well trying to keep up with Jake Dalton. I enjoyed watching Jake and his friend interact, he was open and funny. Personal details are starting to be known and eventually a little bit of that shell around his heart will be opened. As soon as Kate believes they are making any kind of progress he is quick to close that hole back up. He can be sweet but then again how long will it last? This book had all the emotions and I cannot wait to see how it continues with next book.

A fake relationship with a sexy cowboy in a small town is never a good idea...

-Alana-

After high school, my plan was to leave the small town of Mason Creek and never look back. I thought I’d work my way through college while my long-time, bull rider boyfriend chased his rodeo dreams and took me along for the ride.

My own dreams of becoming his publicist and living the high life together on the PBR circuit were crushed when it became clear that my eight seconds was up. The buckle bunnies were suddenly more appealing than the girl with her nose buried in the books.

I’ve sworn off men, especially cowboys and bull riders.

That is, until I walk in on one in my shower, naked, wet, and built like he could break my heart… and my bed.

-Holden-

The rodeo has been my whole world, and all it took was one false accusation to bring it crumbling down. I cleared my name, but the organization I’ve given my life and my body to for the past seven years doesn’t give a damn. They don’t want the drama and right now they don’t want me.

That’s how I ended up in Mason Creek, hiding from the cameras while the dust settles and I can reclaim my reputation and my rank in the PBR. The last thing I need is to get messed up with a local girl, especially one who hates cowboys--bull riders in particular.

Our relationship may be just for show, but I see the opportunity for what it is…The chance to keep my secret a little longer and prove to Alana that maybe her problem with bull riders is simple…

She hasn’t ridden the right one yet.

Review:
Kids always seems to steal the show in some books and this one was no exception. Reed and Hazel share one night, one night and then he is off to his military career. Who knew that that one night would change Hazel's life forever. When Reed returns home after a few injuries keep him from serving, his life is also changed. A smirk, that's all it took it change his life. This story was heartfelt and took some time to get there. It took some bonding and lots of talks but eventually Hazel and Reed are able to get on the same page. It was such a sweet story and as always I am impatiently waiting on the next.

BLURB

Wren

Being a single mom is not how I envisioned life would turn out. But after my happily ever after ended way too soon, I’m doing my best and taking each day as it comes. Life is full of surprises, though, both good and bad... like Marshall Riggins coming to my rescue in the pharmacy line.

The gorgeous Riggins brother has a heart of gold and looks mighty fine as a knight in shining armor, but I don’t need a handout nor the distraction. Too bad my heart doesn’t get the memo.

Suddenly he’s everywhere I am. With his stubborn smile and dark blue eyes, he sees way more than I wish he would. He looks beyond the broken fragments of my being and still wants me. I can’t help but think maybe he’s my second chance at a happy ending.

Marshall

After watching my brothers find their magic and settling down, it’s time to admit I want what they have. It’s not just about the passion but the soul connection. The beautiful brunette fumbling through her purse in front of me in line doesn’t just catch my attention. She steals my heart.

Wren Wheeler is as stubborn as the day is long. The gorgeous single mom doesn’t want to accept my help... or my friendship. But her adorable baby girl doesn’t agree. In fact, she loves me. And the longer I spend with both of them, I know walking away isn’t an option.

She’s afraid of having her heart broken again, but I’m not going anywhere. I’ve slowly fallen for Wren. And beat by beat, I think she’s falling too.

Review:
Marshall is the sweetest! He has watched his mother and father's relationship along with his brothers and he has learned. He instantly feels a connection to help Wren. He can just see that she needs a break. He couldn't be any closer to helping those tired eyes. These two move quickly, a little more quickly than Wren can figure out the how and the why. These two were a perfect ending to this series along with quick updates from the rest of the broody Riggins brothers.

Release with Review:: I'll Be There By Remy Marie

Title: I'll Be There
Author: Remy Marie
Genre: NA Romance, College Sports Romance, Interracial Romance
Release Date: September 4, 2021

I Don’t Get Sundays - “Holy goodness, this was one of those can't put down until the very last word books.”
Lindzanne1_bookworm - “This book took me on an emotional rollercoaster!”
Romance Me - “I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of I'll Be There and I can say, with this I definitely found another so far new to me author whose backlist will be immediately checked out now.”

Jasmine Phillips has always had her sights set high, and it seems like she has everything figured out. She has the grades, the looks, the money—and let’s not forget her perfect boyfriend. To anyone on the outside looking in, she has the perfect life. Little do they know, it’s not what it seems. Despite her stellar grades and top percentile MCAT score, her parents still aren’t happy. Jasmine’s surgeon parents want her to follow in their footsteps while she wants to pursue a career in pediatrics. However, this turns out to be the least of her worries. Her perfect, med student boyfriend is determined to ruin her future along with his own. When he lays his hands on her for the first time, Jasmine’s life is thrown into turmoil and Brock Givens seems to be the only one able to keep her life from spinning out of control.

Brock Givens might seem like an average dumb jock at a glance but to people who know him, he’s much more that. While a football star, he’s also smarter than most give him credit for and has a passion for more than just football, but that doesn’t mean he’s without issues of his own. Brock’s troubled past and childhood trauma are impacting his football career and threatening his future. Jasmine tries to be there for Brock as a friend but they seem to be getting closer and closer each day while denying there is anything more than friendship until their mutual need for comfort and support brings them closer than they anticipate.

Content Warning, contains scenes of domestic abuse, sexual assault, and racism.

Review:
Holy goodness, this was one of those can't put down until the every last work books. Jasmine was very naive and sweet and even though I wanted to choke her I wanted to hug her. She was young and in love. As book smart as she was I just couldn't believe how dense she was with love, but I guess when you are inside the box it is just so hard to see what everyone is telling you. Brock is on the football team and is in tutoring. He is quiet, shy, and has been through so much. Their friendship was so sweet and I watched them fall in love and not even know it. They were just having fun, a type of fun they weren't used to: fun without permission or rules. Their individual stories are heartbreaking, their story together will make you feel all gooey inside, and soon you will get to see if they can make it work. I wanted to hug them both. I loved how this story was written, raw and emotional. There are things that happen in this world that shouldn't and you can't control it. But you can control how you react to it and how you learn from it. You can achieve everything you want no matter what someone may tell you. This story shows us how if you keep those around you that really love you, you can accomplish anything. Brock and Jasmine's small circle of friends along rally around them and they thrive. This was such a good story and I am thankful to have been introduced to this author.
