Review:

Starting this book I kept thinking, these kids should have started in college not high school with their feelings and the way Evy was taken care of by Jay. Never in my time have I seen a high school guy so in tuned with the girl but hey it took us to their 20s where the passion never dies. Once they move to LA, Evy has trouble keeping up, Jay and the band are moving forward. She is still her awkward self and Jay isn't around to make her feel included. They are figuring life out, when the devil enters their lives and everything changes. Evy makes the ultimate sacrifice to ensure the future of the band lives on. This book had me sobbing at one point because I could feel the emotion poured into the words written. Now the wait for more.

Kyle and Madelyn's story was amazing. I enjoyed this second chance and with the addition of a sweet kid, it was bursting with all the goodness. This is the first of the series I have read and I will be looking up the other stories. These two really got my heart and left it feeling just great.

This is a very unique story and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Callie's past is one most of us would not be familiar with, living in a 'compound' under the thumb of her father. She was born into a lifestyle that made her disciplined to believe her way of living may be the correct way. Enter strong and gentle Ridge, who through texting and soft words allows her to blossom. He allows her to find her own way and realize women are independent creatures who can make their own decisions.

I thought Maddox was going to be a tougher nugget to crack but apparently when you are the right girl, you can get them to bend. Maddox is all business, he wants something and he goes after it. He wants the land that Cami's business sits on and he is bound to do whatever he can to make it all happen. He has revenge on his mind and this business will complete his plan. Cami sees an arrogant spoiled man who gets what he wants and she is determined to not allow it. These two banter and fuss but in the end they work well together. They find their best within each other. This family and the grandparents as always give you that warm gooey family feeling.

Review:

Czar and Josie's story is amazing. I am really enjoying this series and cannot wait to see how the rest of the series goes. Josie and Czar's journey is something that keeps you until the end. Czar knows the second he meets Josie that she is to be his and he goes right into protective mode. I enjoyed the relationship built and the journey I was able to witness with these two.

I was actually surprised this story grabbed my attention and kept it. The dark MC romances usually aren't my genre but the blurb was good enough to try it. I enjoyed this story a strong female lead and a man that understands she needs control at times. It was a great beginning and I am excited for more.

It's terrible because I am usually a huge fan, but this female lead, I could not relate with. Brynlee wastes her life pining over a man who moved on. He might not have been happy but he moved on and had a child. When he returns to her life, she almost instantly forgives him then marries him. I loved the concept, I loved Crew's child and the relationship built with her however just the fast paced connection and back in each other's life within minutes. It was a well told story as always by this author just the story as a whole, I could not relate with.
