Review:
I usually don't enjoy the whole reconciling ex's story, but this was done in a way I couldn't not read. Lucy gave up her happiness to ensure Grudge didn't spend most of his youth in prison. Her father is a horrible person and is heavily involved in her life. Her father worked his backdoor connections to get his way and ruin 2 lives. Grudge is bitter, as expected, and has moved on until he locks eyes with Lucy at the courthouse. He tries, he really does to keep his life normal, welcoming his new role in the club and no feelings with the club girls. He falls though, old habits don't die and soon he is saving Lucy from danger. The writing style and this group of alpha men made it easy to read.

Scarlett Cole is a contemporary romance author that calls both Toronto, Canada and Manchester, England home. A born city dweller, she periodically quashes the urge to live in the country by hiking up a mountain to remind herself that living away from people would terrify the pants off her.
